Excellent picture and microphone sound. Automatically sets up. It easily clamps onto the top of the computer monitor, but it does not have any kind of locking mechanism. Be careful not to rock your monitor or brush up against the webcam, or it will fall off and you'll have to reposition and re-aim it.

Truly plug and play. This camera came in handy because my Dell's integrated webcam is/was not functional of which I made sure the settings were correct, did some troubleshooting and nothing fixed the problem. So, I bought this Spedal cam right away because I had some important can't-miss business related zooms coming up. This camera has great clarity and a nice sleek design. If you're looking for something like this, I highly recommend this product. No software needed, but there is an option to download software to utilize additional features.

This camera works solidly under Linux Mint. The audio is definitely low-gain and boxy-sounding. It is ok audio for up-close, but if you are more than a foot away it sounds pretty wimpy compared to, say, the built-in mic in my computer. I had some unsolicited comments from the remote viewers that the audio was poor. You can remmedy this pretty quickly if you have a built-in mic or a headset. The video is ok, but I do feel like there is some synthetic software resolution boosting going on to achieve the specified resolution. It's not a big deal. The lens is zoomed in more than I expected, a lot more than what I see on Apple products. I would say it feels like maybe a 50-75mm camera lens. The detail in the webcam is good, certainly good enough for its intended use. The synthetic artifacts from the resolution boost aren't terrible. What I liked about it is that it grips fine on a variety of monitors -- from old iMacs to new ultra-thin monitors, and it works 100% with GNU/Linux Mint without any issues. I do not even know how, it must be using some kind of generic kernel video interface, because I did nothing other than plug it in!

120deg view webcam is great for meetings of 6-12 people. Easy to hook up, good microphones. The built-in adjustable ledge enable me to put it right on top of a large TV. I use a USB extension reach to my laptop so I can be in the FOV along with the rest of the group.

After a few tweaks, I am happy with this camera. Even in lower light (home office at night with overhead ceiling fan light turned on), the camera shows a much clearer picture than even my FaceTime HD camera. It also does a nice job with auto-focus even as far as 24" away from me. The mount could be firmer and have more friction though. There appears to be double-sided tape built into the camera, which I may end up making use of. Otherwise, it can slide around pretty easily. Also, it has a hinge as opposed to a ball joint. This doesn't bother me because I was planning on placing it directly in front of me; however, if you plan on putting the camera off on the side, then the ball joint on other models might be important. The worst part I can find about this camera is the default Hue setting, at least in the lower light (home office at night with overhead light) conditions that I was using to test it. I came out a bit pink (although I was in focus and not grainy, as mentioned above). I ended up installing a 3rd-party Webcam Settings app from the App Store and adjusted the Hue a bit to restore normal color to my cheeks. That seemed to work well. So I'm keeping this camera and ordering a second for a computer in another room.

I bought this webcam because of the stellar reviews, but this webcam did not live up to the hype for me. I stream on Mixer and use this for my face cam. - The video quality is not 1080p. Yes, it works if you're just starting out or just need something to video call with, but the picture is not crystal clear. It's grainy and does not do well in low light at all. If you're looking to use this to stream, I'd go with something else. - Do not use this as a mic for anything other than video calling. I use it for streaming, and I could not even dream of using this mic for streaming. It sounds like you're trying to talk from inside a closet or something. Not very good quality at all.

When I bought my refurbished desktop from Amazon, I purchased this Webcam for Zoom calls that I may have. I wasn’t sure it would work because it was nearly a month before I tried it out. It was almost too easy to attach, and it had a feature where you could hide the incoming camera with a switch so I was eager to try it out. My first Zoom meeting was set up. I logged on and held my breath until I was accepted to the meeting, and everyone saw me and heard me. I highly recommend this webcam. My only disappointment is my coloring comes through more orange than the pale I am, but my group recognized me, so it’s all good.

For the price, picture quality on a Skype call was very good, wide-angle, clear and better than expected. The unit itself does not look or feel cheap like some others, and actually looks quite nice on top of the 1440p ultra-wide monitor. No frills, just get the job done. Oh and, great mic built in as well, which will work fine with your PC's Cortana, Alexa, Siri, and on and on these days... This was easy plug and play. Recognized the device and was ready to use in seconds. Works on all apps requiring a camera/mic permission. Note: No 3.5mm mic input for external mic, but at this price range, one shouldn't be expected anyway. The on-board mic is very good, as is.

Die Cam wurde schnell geliefert. Die Qualität ist gut. Das Bild hat für eine Webcam einen ausreichenden Blickwinkel. Der Autofokus funktioniert und stellt immer ein scharfes Bild ein. Positiv, man kann mit einem sehr leichtgängigen Schieber auf der Cam die Kamera verschließen, also ohne dass man sie verdreht. Ich hätte mir aber für den Preis zumindest einen gewissen Zoom erwünscht, dann würde Preis/Leistung stimmen.
