Good Laptop At A Fair Price
For the price, this laptop gets a 5 star rating. Well, more like 4.5 but I couldn't give it that. It's a good sized laptop with a clear screen. It's pretty darn fast and it looks pretty sharp. Speakers are decent but not mind-blowing and for what it's worth, it has a camera, which is, again, passable, not mind-blowing. The keyboard on the one I got is more of a darker grey (it's advertised as ash grey, which I believe is a lighter color) but I actually like the darker keyboard better. Typing on the keyboard is pretty smooth too. It could use one or two more outlets on the sides though. You only get one USB Type-A port, one USB Type-C port and a headphone jack. Fine if you're more of a minimalist, but not ideal for multi-tasking work. Also, a little tip; When powering on, all you need to do is press the power button, NOT press and hold. I didn't realize that at first and thought initially that their was a problem. Just a piece of advice. Overall, it's a good laptop, at a fair price and should work well for the "Average Joe". I just got it, so the only question I have is, how long will it last? Hopefully it lasts me quite a while. But we'll see. I also got one of the recommended carrying cases for it, but that's another review for another time. Overall Rating: 4.5/5 stars.

Bought for a teen. Works as expected. Silver finish is nice. Good price point.

No backlit keyboard
The computer is really beautiful and works well. However, there was not a mention that this model does not have the backlit keyboard or touch screen. Since I bought this computer to take back with me to China it is disappointing.

Easy to Set up And Good Battery Life
It was easy to set up and I really like how bright the display is! It has a good battery life which is nice considering my old laptop couldn't go an hour without having to be plugged into the charger. The color and design are also nice. I think it was well worth it, a good laptop!

My first Chromebook
This is my first Chromebook I have only had it for a couple of days but I can easily say it looks to be exactly what I was looking for.I was needing something larger than a mobile or tablet and something smaller than a full-blown laptop.I wasn't looking to break the bank but I wasn't looking to keep out either this HP Chromebook fit the bill perfectly. It has the basic functionality and the connectivity options I was needing that aren't always available on other Chromebooks or smaller tablets. I was also pleasantly surprised to see how easily it linked up with my mobile.Even adding in a Lenovo carry bag and a wireless mouse still kept the price point right at 200 bucks. It arrived well packaged, and on time. I look forward to getting many years worth of use out of this little Chromebook!

Didn’t last even two months.
This computer lasted less than two months before it started having constant issues. The keyboard acts up. The power button does not work. I have to reset the computer almost every time I go to use it. This was honestly a waste of money.

Nice Laptop for All of Your Google Needs
So far, so good. I've had several Chromebooks over the years, and this one seems just as good as the others. Chromebooks are great if you only use the Internet, use streaming platforms, check Gmail, and create documents in Google Drive. There are other uses, but the above are all that I use it for. Chromebooks are not for people who use Microsoft Products, create coding, or any other complicated technology. A Chromebook is a Google device, so if you find yourself mostly using Google, it's a nice, relatively affordable, somewhat disposable laptop.
