Works great with my MSI Ghost. The size is good, not too big. Easily fits in my back pack. It does not get hot.

I had done it.... I left on a trip and left my power supply for my laptop at home. I went to a big box store to get a replacement. The Laptop I have is a Republic of Gamers and needs more power than the largest they carried. I went on Amazon and found a solution that meets my laptops requirements.... and for less that teh price of the one to small at the local store. I had to wait a day, but when it arrived, It worked flawlessly. I have been using it as my main power adapter not for a couple months. I am very happy with this product. I am using my original supply as a spare I keep in my travel bag for the computer. Thanks guys. [PS: I am incredibly dependent on my computer and use it all the time. I have been working on computers and systems since before the IBM PC came out in 1983. I check out things I order pretty well BEFORE placing a post.]

I was in need of a new charger after the wires on my factory charger started getting hot. Chargers in general get warm while operating, but certain points of the cord were so hot that I couldn't even touch them, and this made me nervous about starting a fire. I started looking for a new charger and after reading reviews and considering the price, I decided to order this charger.All I can say is that the quality of this charger is just as good if not better than the original one that came with the laptop. The length of this charging brick and cable is not a worry at all, and I have yet to have an issue. The wires and insulation are definitely heavy duty and are made of high quality materials that don't bend or kink easily. The last thing that I will mention is that the power brick itself doesn't get warm at all. I can run my laptop for 4 hours straight working on homework and the brick still feels cool to the touch.All considered, this is a fantastic charger and I couldn't be happier with the quality. Not to mention, the price is cheaper than the MSI replacement and the power brick stays much cooler. If I am ever in need of a another charger for some reason, I will be purchasing this one again.

Loaded up a game on my laptop. Was like "yay, I have a new power thing and don't have to worry about it falling out every two seconds" except... I smelled that nasty electric wire fire/burnt plastic smell. Put the extra fan built into the computer on. Thought it was better but nope. Kept stinging my nose. So I sniffed the computer. Nope. Unplugged the new power cord - sniffed and OMG WTF. Found it. Luckily I think my computer is ok and more importantly I didn't leave it plugged in and come home to find my house burned down and my dogs dead.So, this is one case where I can say that my pragmatic (ok, occasional cheapskate) self shouldn't have chosen the cheapest power supply.In my defense, the ratings were good.They shouldn't be. Do not recommend.

It's a great product! I had to replace the charger (other brands) for my MSI GE60 several times because they malfunctioned after a while, but this charger has been performing very well. It's long enough yet not too long the the point where it becomes too bulky when carrying around. It does heat up quite a bit, but that appears to be normal since I play games for a long time. I recommend it!

The ground prong broke completely off within a month or two of using the product.Update: 2019-10-15I believe it is entirely possible this cord was tripped on while plugged in and the child who did it did not tell me about it. Updating to 4 stars because otherwise the product works well, if a little bulky compared to the OEM power supply.

Because of the battery consumption on my MSI GE62 laptop, I have to keep it plugged in during my 3 hour classes. I hated having to unplug the power adapter in my dorm every time I had a class. So I purchased this adapter to keep in my backpack. It is a little bulkier than the OEM power adapter, but it does exactly what I need it to do and does it well. I have had no problems at all with it since my purchase.

Nice long cable, works great for finding power and running across a room. Only 3 stars due to the strain relieve breaking easily. Good price though so even though this is the second one I had to buy I still give it three stars.
