I absolutely love these kits. I used one just about every year and my kindergarten and third grade classrooms. The kids love them. They work well and always hatched 4 to 5 butterflies. Do note you have to send the certificate off to get the actual larva

Perfect Butterly
This is the perfect enclosure for our caterpillars. We use fresh milkweed for their food and have had 12 caterpillars transform into beautiful monarchs!!

We have been getting these every year for at least 12 years and every year it still feels new. It’s a beautiful, beautiful gift a beautiful learning experience and the butterflies do stay around.

Our bug lover enjoyed this gift, had to order caterpillers separately, they came in about a week. Net home folds up to store.

Grand daughter love this and is ready to start taking care of the catapillars that I ordered for her.

Too small and poor design.
Don’t really recommend. The opening is too small to allow easy cleaning. The lid is plastic so the caterpillar can’t hang from the top for the chrysalis. Overall small enclosure big enough for one at a time.
