Perfect volume for reminder if you are within about 30 - 40 feet. Not an alarm just a reminder buzzer with volume about the same as a cars oops you left your lights on or door open.

I bought this for a low air pressure warning in my Kenworth at first I was skeptical about how loud they were but after install I was amazed these brothers were perfectly with just the right sound level to not be annoying yet you can clearly hear, very easy to install, such a good price got two for the price so now I have one as a backup, a function perfectly would buy again

When holding this Hahiyo buzzer in my hand, the sound is barely audible. When pressing the buzzer against the car's chassis, the sound can be a about as loud the loudest cell phone ringer but it all depends on the mounting surface. IOW, the buzzer is vibrating the mounting surface.The problem is that there are just two tiny holes on the sides for mounting and one would have to drill tiny holes into the car's chassis to screw the buzzer to the chassis. I don't know how to drill tiny (maybe about 1/16 inch holes) into steel. Maybe gluing the buzzer might work but then the glue might dampen the sound or the buzzer might fall off due to the buzzer's vibration.Disappointed with the performance of this buzzer.EDIT: Decided to change from 3 stars to 1 star to let folks know how this buzzer actually works. It won't work for me.

These are not amazingly loud but they make a nice scoreboard buzzer sound and are pretty loud!

It is more like a cellphone low ringer volume. Also 9VDC voltage it would buzz and with 12VDC it would just beep but not have a consistent buzz. If you need an automotive type buzzer pick something else.
