Great build with so many options
This was such a fun build for my son! It looks great and is so functional because you’re able to rearrange the layout. My son loves it so much he actually bought 2 of them to customize it! Great value!

Super cute!
Bought this for my daughter. This was her first Lego build. She wasn't ever really interested in Legos until I showed her this one. She loves anything Sonic and said she would definitely build it. Purchased it and she completed it in a couple days and now proudly displays it alongside the rest of her Sonic collection. Easy to follow directions and she completed it without any difficulty for being her first build.

A must for fans of Sonic the Hedgehog and LEGO
I bought this set for my son's birthday, and he absolutely loves it. It's been almost a month and it still hasn't left our kitchen table. There are a lot of intricate little pieces, but it came together pretty nicely. Even assembled, it still fits "flat" in the box (easy storage without having to disassemble the entire set). The 18+ suggestion is for the artistic/collector side of things, I think; my son just turned 6 but he's already building sets designed for 9+ with minimal assistance, and he handles his LEGO gently (LEGO stay on the table, Duplo can go on the floor). I grew up w/ Sonic games, and I was delighted with the level of detail in this set, and the clever ways the designers brought it all together. We both had fun putting it together.

Fun set. Relatively easy. Loses one star for having a lot of annoying 1x1x1 pieces.
