Easy setup and great use
First id like to mention that you need to pop off the back and tab to install the mount and battery. I was confused at first because no instructions were provided and the app wasnt much help. The sensor works per room! So it will only work for ALL the lights in that room. I just wanted it for the bedroom so i had to separate the ceiling lights and table lights into different rooms on the app. Its great otherwise! You can setup when it should detect motion ,what the detection does (turn on lights, change color, etc), and add a feature if motion not found after X time. Other than these small hiccups, deff recommend.

Requires WIZ light bulbs; works with no other lights. :(
Buyer Beware! This unit only works with Wiz Lightbulbs and nothing else!According to their ad here on Amazon - "Once your Motion Sensor is set up in the WiZ App, use Alexa, Siri Shortcuts, or Google Assistant to control 'YOUR LIGHTS' with voice. No hub is required, simply follow the pairing steps in the WiZ app for your favorite voice assistant."At the time ad simply stated: "Compatible with Alexa and Google Home Assistant, White"."No HUB required"!However - you DO need to buy Wiz [propriety] Lightbulbs!I guess they were hoping - that once i'd mistakenly purchased their cheaply made gizmo, i'd feel stuck buying their other accessories. No Dice. I sent their junk back to Amazon who very graciously refunded my money. Wish i'd not wasted my precious time with Wiz products. :-(When i received this product, it's box clearly states, "WORKS WITH ALL WIZ CONNECTED PRODUCTS".What?!It would have been helpful if they'd said this here in Amazon. But no.Sure - so long as you only use "WIZ" wifi light bulbs. But NOT with the wifi light i bought - which was rechargeable specifically because it's one part of our flat that has no outlet or light sockets.I feel this is (at the very least) "misleading".

Pretty good
It's pretty good. I wish you could adjust/turn down the sensitivity.

Works well, glitchy pairing
Would give a 4.5 or 5, but for the pairing. Not sure if supposed to come with batteries, but did not, and appeared it may have been previously opened. Pairing it came up right away but then gave an error attempting to complete the process. Tried a few more times with same results. Luckily looked around in the WiZ app and found that it had been added to accessories area of app (DOES NOT SHOW UP IN THE ROOM). Was able to adjust settings there and test and use successfully with a single nearby bulb. Box claims this doesn't require WiFi, so it must be using radio/Bluetooth/? to connect to nearby bulb(s) in same "room" to receive any settings updates and control the bulb on/off. Overall happy so far for what we were looking for (lamp control at bottom of stairwell as we're walking down).

This smart sensor is really stupid...
I've long used a motion sensor for my living room light. It would shut the power off whenever I would stay away for too long. It was simple and did exactly what I needed. However, I just "upgraded" to a Wiz smart bulb, which seems to disconnect from the network if I turn off the power too often; with a dumb sensor, the power constantly goes off and on. The smart bulb can't handle that, so I resigned myself to using the Wiz remote and Wiz motion sensor. The first strike against the Wiz sensor: it's battery-operated instead using an AC plug. Worse, changing batteries requires a screwdriver!Functionality is poor. Yes, it detects motion (though it only sends commands at fixed intervals), but it controls the light in a stupid way. While I want it to turn on the light when sensing motion, I also want it to leave the light alone when it's on. For example, I set up an automated rhythm that dims the light at night. However, sometimes I need it to be brighter so I can do some task, so I use the remote to increase the brightness. The sensor, meanwhile, sees me and sends the "Power on" command, and dims the light according to the automation.I need the sensor to see me and "do nothing" if the light is already on. The app doesn't allow this. The only basic choices are "Power on" and "Brightness change."The sensor ignores when I have manually turned off the light. I'll use the remote to turn off the light, only for the sensor to turn it back on. I turned off the light, went to bed, and the following morning when I went to open the blinds, it turned itself on.I want the sensor to turn the light on, but it needs to recognize when I've turned it off and keep it off.And finally, the sensor light is an ugly bright blue.

Falsely advertised motion detector
I will be returning the three motion detectors I purchased because they are useless and falsely advertised as “works with Alexa” in the images associated to this product listing. I feel like I was duped and the good reviews here are all for other products, not the motion detector. Not only do these not work with Alexa, but they don’t even work with the Wiz app very well. I paired the same one twice, but couldn’t find it anywhere in the app until I realized that it was incrementing the name with a number each time. Therefore, I think it pairs, but then I can’t do anything with it. I can’t even see it in my device list! I also have a sneaking suspicion that if the motion detectors work at all, then they’ll only work with Wiz light bulbs. This has been one of the worst product experiences I have ever encountered and although I already have 3 Wiz-connected lights, I am so turned off after this that I think this brand has permanently ruined my confidence in their products. As if to confirm those feelings, it also took me about a half-hour of troubleshooting to get the light bulbs paired. Thankfully, at least those do work with Alexa.
