So many colors! So many buttons! I sew two on my crocheted hats after making a short attached scarf with it to place over a person's mouth and nose. Just simply wrap the yarn around the button. I have had a lot of compliments from it. These buttons can of course be used on other materials besides yarn and just the perfect size!
