I absolutely love this filter. I would give it 10 stars if I could.I purchased this filter, an 8” fan and the 8” noise reducing collar from AC infinity. I am using it as a freestanding filter and it’s amazing. Even though downstairs my house is a construction zone right now, the air in my bedroom is fresh and clean. It’s like crisp winter air without the sting of cold.I have asthma and other medical problems that are triggered by substances that are hard to avoid (fragrances, disinfectants, laundry additives/softeners, some plastics and packaging, etc). Since I’ve been running this setup my breathing is much easier and I don’t need as much medication to control my symptoms.There are some drawbacks. It’s not cheap. It is big. Your spouse may mock you for buying equipment apparently intended for stealth grow ops. But if you need clean air, it’s worth it 100%.It’s also not offensive to be around. The build quality is great. It’s sturdy and looks high end. Don’t get me wrong, if you turn that fan up to full, you’ll find yourself questioning whether you should have invited a turbine engine into your home. But at any reasonable level (1-4), it moves a lot of air without unpleasant noise.I would highly recommend this setup to anyone who has similar problems. To anyone, really. We all need clean air, and we all deserve to breathe a little easier.

works just get the big blower not the little booster fan it's not enough force.

I've purchased probably every available brand of carbon filter available, and these AC Infinity filters were the absolute first I've ever gotten that weren't covered in excess loose carbon powder. We purchased two 8 inch filters for use as fresh air makeup filters for a commercial cultivation facility. They include a set of ratchet style hangers, velcro straps, and 2 pre-filter sleeves. The sleeves are some of the nicer I've had come with a filter. They fit snug and correctly end to end. The construction of the filter body is durable and well made, and the filter isn't overly heavy. I would highly recommend and we will be purchasing again!

Just as advertised this baby is XL.Gets the job done perfectly. Highly recommend. Easy to hang for the size comes with clips for rope ratchets don't have to hang by the flange.

Received intact and easy to set up.

This seems to be working decent , I don’t think it’s as strong filtering as the Phat filter I had prior, but for the budget filter it’s holding up good
