Where can we buy some extra magnetic pieces in case we lose some, or if more than one child wants to play? I could not find replacement sets on Amazon

You can purchase additional MightyMind Magnet sets on Amazon - ASIN #B004Z7Q3TQ Extra sets of MightyMind Tiles - ASIN #B014N5EGES. An alternative would be to purchase Magnetic MightyMind Challenger, or ZOO Adventure, or Sea Explorer, or SuperMind. The tile sets and Magnets in these all use the same basic tile and Magnet set and you would have double the number of patterns.

What does this set include? I don't see any description of what it contains.

SuperMind is an extension of MightyMind. It uses the identical design tile set of unique proportional gemetric design shapes. SuperMind includes 30 sequentially arranged construction patterns including #30 - #60. It also includes an solutions key. Original SuperMind #40200 and Magnetic SuperMind are the same aside from packaging and magnets. It's ideal for any child who has completed basic MightyMind or is 5 - 9 years old.

The product details says it requires batteries. Is that true?

I have no idea why it would say that. They are permanent magnets, not electromagnets :)
