Item received without any rough edges or flaws; very easy to hand wash. Great for relieving tension by pounding the daylights out of chicken breasts!

I chose this Papa Verino's meat hammer just because someone's review said it was dishwasher safe. Who wouldn't choose a sterilizing dishwasher over hand wash? When it arrived, the attached label says "hand wash in warm, soapy water". So choose ANY meat tenderizer, None are dishwasher safe.

I love to cook and often experiment when cooking thus I often use an implement to flatten meats for making cordon bleu, schntizel, etc. The flat side of this tenderizer is perfect for doing this. If I had to find an area to improve upon I would suggest that the handle be made slightly longer. Otherwise, I could not think of any fault.

Need to tenderize meat? This will do that. What more do you want from it? I use it to flatten chicken breasts before cooking etc.

Have owned several meat tenderizers.This is the best as, along with itsdouble sides it is really easy to clean.I give them to family and friends at gift time.
