I bought this in September 2022 because I got a pet safe auto litter box and there were people saying not to use the litter box in a humid room. As the crystal litter is designed to absorb the cats urine but will absorb water in a humid room. I didn’t know the humidity level in the room but to combat that entirely I decided I wanted a dehumidifier to help even more. I landed on this one and was amazed at how quickly it was drawing in water. But I’ve had this as long as I have had the litter box, so there was no true time to compare with and with out.. until now. About a week, ago my power went out for 3 hours. Once it came back on I forgot about turning the dehumidifier back on for another 3 days.The cat litter is supposed to last 2 weeks for two cats. And since we’ve had it, it definitely is about 2 weeks. Well. The 3 days the dehumidifier wasn’t running, caused a lot of absorption from the air, especially with the box being in the laundry room. The litter box didn’t last the entire 2 weeks, the smell started getting bad days before it was time to change. So I finally got to see the effect of this dehumidifier and I will not be going back. I may even buy a second one to really help this room as I LOVE this litter box and do not want to give that up lol. 10/10, definitely doing it’s job… just remember to turn it back on if your power goes out hahahaha

It does what it’s supposed to but if you have humid summers and your thinking it will be good next to your bed like me, forget about it ! You’ll need something much, much larger to feel a difference !

I bought this product in June of 2022, it stopped working, without cause.

I used this product for my basement bedroom. Work great for 6 months then it just quit on me. Didn’t realize it til I started waking up wit stuffy nose again. It was great while it lasted wish it could of lasted longer like aleast a year.

It does what you would expect a $35 dehumidifier to do. Its always very humid in my apartment and it sits on the half-wall in between the kitchen and living room. It takes at least a week for it to fill up, and I can still FEEL the humidity so I know it's not doing much.I now realize (as I'm comparing and looking for a replacement) that its listed as being good for an area that's "2300 cubic feet." CUBIC feet and SQUARE feet are not even close to the same thing. It's only good for rooms that are like 200-300 square feet, which is MUCH smaller than I thought originally. I knew that for the price it couldn't have been THAT good, but they purposely mislead people, because every other brand I've seen listed uses square feet.

Initially, I bought it to put in a storage cabinet on our condo patio instead of using DampRid containers. I thought it would save money considering the DampRid pellets need to be replaced every 2 months. Instead, I tried it out in our second bedroom next to my iMac. Within 2 days there was an inch of water in the container. To my surprise, it dehumidifies the room very efficiently and quietly. I've been emptying the water out every 3 or 4 days since it's summer in Hawaii. If I use it as I originally intended in the patio storage cabinet, I'd probably have to check on it and empty it every 2 or 3 days. You would definitely need to shut it off if you go on a 2 week trip if no one was monitoring it. It works very well and I'm rather impressed with the device.

It lights up, it's quiet, and fills up pretty quick. I keep it in my bedroom with all doors closed, and have to empty it just about every week. It hasn't given me any issues so far

I absolutely adored this! I didn't even use it for a month or two after I bought it. I used it for a few months in a small room that has a large collection of books, it decided to die on me and won't turn on now. I was considering getting a second one before this one died, but I'm glad I didn't. I was expecting it to last at least a year. Very disappointing.
