Saves time and energy. Generally I find that the grill takes about 15 minutes to cook meat. This is unlikely to be sufficient for the amount of vegetables illustrated in the product description.Typically I cook two burgers and use the steamer for a small onion cut into four thick slices arranged in a single layer. This works well for one person and the onions come out just right. If you wanted to cook for two - say four burgers and two portions of onion, the burgers will cook just fine but the onion will only be half-cooked.So if you are normally cooking for one, I would recommend this product. If you are cooking for two, I guess you could put the steamer on first and add the meat half way through the cooking cycle, but this really removes most of the advantages of the product.
