Package tampered with
Michael Baldwin Product worked great. However, the package had been opened and resealed crudely with tape and the masonry drill bit removed. .Project is complete after a trip to Ace for a bit.

Great bolts. Worthless drill bit.
Bolts are great. The included drill bit is junk. Worthless after drilling two holes in brick. Bought a set of 2 at the local hardware store for $5 and they lasted the entire job.

Great screw, but the packaging...
I have been using Tapcons for 30 years and never had an issue. The screws themselves are rock solid-reliable. They seat well in drive bits, run in quickly, and bite reliably. Ask them to do something outside of their design parameters, and they will cam-out or snap at the head, but typically, worry-free. Quick note to novice/new users- order screws a tad longer than you think you need and drill holes a bit deeper. The screw tip is a long, shallow-taper by design so you essentially lose the first ~1/4" of thread bite. Two reasons for my rating "ding": 1. The included bit- good for a couple of holes before it gives up, but unless you have magically soft concrete, free of aggregate, you certainly won't pop a hundred holes. The bit in this package was missing (see ding 2), but I have used many other ITW/Tapcon bits for reference). 2. The packaging/shipping- the screws and bit, I suppose, were supposed to remain in their thin, polystyrene, flip-lid box. However, that un-robust box was placed in a flimsy padded envelope for shipping. Needless to say, I got a mostly mutilated envelope full of loose screws, poking out everywhere, no bit, and a crushed manufacturer's box. I don't think all 100 screws were there, but no time to count or return- needed them NOW. You will not be disappointed in the product, but good luck with the packaging.

Such a great product!

Seems defective.
5/6 of the ones I have tried to install have sheered off at or just below the surface of the concrete.
