Amazing clock. Includes gloves for the mirror finished pieces.
Wow... loved this build. Took 3 hours. Most of it was because you have to peal the protective plastic off of each piece. All pieces are mirror finished. Looks awesome! Kit included several pieces for replacements if you are heavy handed with the delicate ones. Will buy again.

Fun, But The LED Lights Are A Nightmare!
Okay, I got it done, fairly quickly, actually, as puzzles go. It's a beautiful clock and somewhat of a conversation piece. I have received compliments on it, as well. People have said stuff similar to, "I don't think I've seen anything quite like it." True, that is. I haven't either. However, stringing the LED lights was an absolute slog! Also, and this is the worst part of all, the LED lights do NOT light up the clock face! I repeat: You CANNOT see the clock face by the LED lights! They are BEHIND the wood of the face. In that respect the engineering is terrible. Regardless, it's quite gorgeous, and I recommend it if you don't mind the "unlit clockface" issue.

Best wooden punch-out ever
The first thing that struck me about this kit was how unbelievably easily the parts popped out of the sheets of wood they came from. Even tiny detail pieces that I was ready to have to glue back together weren't a problem. Very nice. The instructions were just a step by step pictorial but even where not immediately clear were far from impossible to figure out.Another review warns that the thin film over the parts needs to come off before you try to assemble the kit. That's not something I would do! That film adds detail and interest to the finished clock. There were a few parts that were uncomfortably tight. In order to be sure I wouldn't press too hard and break something, I took a hobby knife and scraped the edges off the corners of the tabs to trim them a bit. This was no problem.Lastly, another review complained that the numbers stamped onto the parts weren't done right and ended up being visible in the finished clock. A lot of the parts came in pairs - left to right, front to back that sort of thing. If you aren't careful, a left hand part put onto the right side could end up leaving the number showing. But just plan it out as you go and you'll find the kit goes together just fine with no numbers showing. This isn't identified in the directions and maybe having built things like this before made it clear enough for me. Maybe the directions could be more clear about this.My take on this kit might come from having done a few in the past, but from my perspective this is a top-notch (no pun intended) kit.

Lights don't work
Lights do not work. The instructions are terrible, the wood easily breaks. By the time I discovered this I had already started putting this together. And after I finished discovered the lights do not work. Do not wast your money
