Great Quality, Very Effective
This is my first coping saw, so to be fair I must say that I have no prior experience with other brands and models. However, I am thoroughly satisfied with this coping saw purchase. We bought this saw for my son's Pinewood Derby car for Boy Scouts. It handled the job like a charm. The frame of the saw is very sturdy and feels solid. The handle is very comfortable, and is made of wood. I found it very easy to adjust the blade to different angles. With each adjustment, the blade held fast and did not move. This is the type of saw that seems like it will last many years with proper care.True story... I wanted a good quality saw that I could count on to do the job right. This saw did not let me down. The other day, we had a birthday party for my daughter, and we wanted to put tables under the trees. Problem was the tree branches needed trimming! We don't own any saws. And then I thought, "what about my coping saw? Nah, it is too small and weak". I had no choice; I grabbed it from the garage and decided to use it to cut my branches off. **The branches I cut were no more than 1 inch thick**.I was able to slice right through them with very little effort! This little saw sawed off about 8 or 9 branches by the time I was done. Even after all that, the blade is still very sharp! Now, I just need some extra blades just in case. I am very happy with this purchase. For the small price I paid, I have a great quality saw that I know I can always count on.

good saw, good price
Don't know much about woodworking, still learning here. I bought this saw to help clear waste wood from dovetails and the saw works beautifully for that purpose. I'm sure most here will know this, but the saw is a pull saw, so the blade is thin and delicate and only cuts on the pull stroke, similar to a dozuki. The saw fits well in the hand, relatively well made (just cut my first set of dovetails with this saw last weekend and had a blast....cut my time in half!), and the blade is sharp. I noticed that the blade is designed to rotate so that one can cut in an arbitrary orientation, but on my particular tool it was hard to rotate the blade. This wasn't a big problem for me, however, as I just planned ahead and cut in smooth curves rather than trying to cut at hard angles. All in all, solid saw for the price, but perhaps the more skilled woodworkers who need to make difficult hard angle cuts will find this particular saw lacking.

Great saw
My husbands older coping saw began a rapid decline in performance recently. After a particularly hard trim job, I began searching Amazon for a suitable replacement. I read many reviews and researched many coping saws before deciding that this one would work. This coping saw is heads and shoulders above his older saw. Granted the older one is a cheapy homeowner grade saw from a big box store. This saw has a beautiful, perfectly shaped wooden handle. The saw itself feels like it will be so much more sturdy and durable than his older saw. He owns several Larson brand tools and is always happy with them. The company seems to take pride in the construction and quality of the items offered for sale. My husband is very happy with this saw and Larson in general. This company will be a go to from now on. Thank you for offering quality products!

Great purchase
Professional Trim carpenter here. This was a purchase mainly out of curiosity. I quickly put it to the test right out of the package. It performed perfectly. The blade was already installed on the pull cut, which already made me a fan of the saw. I made the cope cut on my miter saw on some poplar 5 1/4 base board. Then used the coping saw to finish the rest. The cut was extremely accurate. No blade twist as I made the small radius cuts. The handle on the saw was different than I’m used to. But it automatically felt great in my hand. It’s definitely a win in my opinion. I will be purchasing another as a back up.

Nothing speciaL
It's a decent coping saw nut nothing special. no better than the cheapie ones you can bet at the local big box hardware store. The frame is a bit crooked, the parts a little wobbly, but tighten up a blade and it will work ok. Frankly I expected more of a high quality tool

Great coping saw!
I haven't used this much yet, but it is very high quality. It is tight enough and rigid enough to not be flopping or bending all over the place as you use it. I showed it to a contractor that has used various coping saws and he was very impressed. It is a job to get it pulled back together tight enough to start screwing the handle back on, but that is what allows it to be tight as you're using it. It is a worthwhile trade off! I highly recommend it!

Sturdy, precise, likely to last a long time
Best coping saw I've ever owned. Sturdy -- which seems weird for such a light saw -- but it is. I like that the handle doesn't rotate too easily, but rather provides a lot of control. I cope most of my molding thanks to the age of my home, and this is a winner. It already feels like one of those tools that will be in my toolbox for a long time.
