The crimp barrels on these are a little short, which makes getting a good crimp something that you need to pay attention to. Good crimps are possible if you are careful. but it's easy to slip off the barrel when crimping, if the crimpers are not perfectly aligned with the exact center of the barrel on the terminal. Water tight properties are good. The price is great.

Bought this jar with "infinite number" of heat shrink forks for a DIY 12V project. They are fine, a little softer than ideal, but not bad, and they cost almost nothing per fork. Note that these forks have at least two sizes in terms of how wide they get, #10 and #8 (smaller). I wish they were a mix. Used this yellow 12-10 awg fork mostly for a thicker 12 AWG wires that I have and it was a perfect fit.

I purchased #10 forks to find them wider than i expected to be at 8mm, i then purchased #8 so i could plug into meanwell LRS's but even then the width is snug to the point that they are not easy to remove once pushed in. They have a width of 7.3 mm yet other similiar forks i've used are 7mm wide which slide perfectly into the slots. The specs in their description should have all measurements to prevent this type of problem.

Make sure you're using the heat shrink type crimping tool, once heated it shrink around the wire very tightly, becomes very rigid and strong, don't use the regular dimple type insulated crimping tool it will crash the connect and fall apart.
