Oculus Rift CV1 Compatible Sensor Wall Mount/Display, Command Strip Included (Black, 4 Pack)

These are fairly low profile, simply designed wall mounts for VR sensors. They generally work as advertised, and the fact that you can use regular command strips as the adhesive is actually really convenient for moving them around. Of my pack of four, one ended up being basically unusable because the opening for the sensor was slightly too large. No matter how I tried to fit it, there was just enough room for it to move freely on its own, which obviously wreaks havoc with tracking. Since i only needed three, this wasn't a deal breaker, and I'd probably order more of these again if I needed to for some reason.

It was a bit of a tight fit but after some wiggling and finessing my sensors into the holes at the top, the sensors fit fine. The provided command strips did not stick well when I mounted the sensors to my walls, and I do suggest getting the better 3M heavy duty ones at your local pharmacy chain or department store. I also do recommend upon installation of these mounts, you should first just slightly stick them on to the wall first, then secondly, calibrate your sensors (because you may have to make adjustments), then thirdly, once your adjustments are made and the sensors are calibrated, apply as much pressure as you can to ensure that they stay on the wall.All in all they get the job done well and I am happy with my purchase. It took me a while to find the correct product for a drill/nail free way to mount my VR sensors. I live in an apartment where they don't allow anything but thumb tacks and that wasn't going to be strong enough for a sensor. These are lightweight and do the job well. I took off one star because I think they should come with the white command strips (The ones that can mount to textured walls) As I feel like most people's walls are textured. They come with clear command strips that are for flat walls without texture. Do be sure to support the wire with something to prevent the sensor from falling off. The holes are a little tight but fit fine once installed. Overall highly recommended.

Adhesion is not permanent! Definitely screw/drill them in if possible!

These are great, a little pricey, but they get the job done. I see a lot of people posting that they wish the wiring could go on either side, but I think they don't realize that there is a whole on the top and bottom so you can flip it either way if you want the wiring to go left or right. The tape it comes with isn't the best, but it seems to hold well as long as you push it in really hard and your wall is clean.

The product is actually very well made everything fits nicely. The only reason it is not five stars is because the cable channel guide on the side doesn't do a great job of keeping the wire in place and makes the sensor move. I had to wrap the wires once behind the sensor so it would stay in place and then run it through the channel. Perhaps V.2 can come with some sort of cover for the channel that would keep the wire from moving.

This product was not what I was expecting, but it is exactly as pictured and described. Rugger plastic design, and perfect fit for my sensors. There is no need for screws or nails. It comes with 2 sided tape for east wall mounting, but I purchased "Command" wall tape for easy removal just in case I wanted to move it on the wall. Good thing because I first installed my 3rd sensor centered on 2 front sensor on the opposite wall. The 3rd sensor is actually placed on the opposite wall directly in front of 1st sensor while pointing at sensor #2.

Was a little nervous buying these that it might be cheaply made at home with someones 3d printer, which could be the case but they work just fine. Adhesive strips come for each one and have worked well, only reason for the 4star is the fact the design is that great for running the cord through, but I haven't seen anything better just yet so for the price this was best buy.

received quickly, the units themselves are good quality, the issue they come pre applied with some self adhesive tap which lasted about 5 days and was a not easy to fully remove and replace with some fit to hold your receivers.

I had it on my wall for about 1 month then it fell down as the sticky pad on the back came off the wall mount.I would recommed getting your own command strips.

Looks and feels cheap but does the job

The mounts are okay but the double sided tape it came with was terrible. All 4 cameras fell off the wall without hours. DO NOT BUY.
