Excellent choice
These bushing are far much better than the original purchases which was just too hard to work with; so I purchased these, Easy to install and have work flawlessly since purchase. If you drive a Toyota model automatic on console shift might as well get a set of these to place in your glove box because when the shift bushing wears out, and it will eventually around 140,000 miles you will go to move, and the shift will just drop all the way down, and you are not going anywhere until replace these bushings. Far cheaper than replacing at a repair shop. I would buy again.

So far, so good.
Installed about 2.5 years ago, working good so far (2007 Sienna), about 15,000 miles. I also put a couple of 1.25 inch holes in the kick panel to allow me to both inspect the replacement and even temporarily get the vehicle into gear, if needed (using needle nosed pliers). One hole is for the inspecting/pliers, the other hole is to point a flashlight into the area. I'll still have to eventually remove a lot of the dash if the new bushing fails, but at least I'll make it home first.

Apparently a Perfect Fit for Our 2009 Toyota Sienna SUPER PLEASED!
The good Lord was with us when I backed out of our driveway to go get a car wash and the shifter went floppy. My wife and I pushed the van back into the garage and I went online to figure out what I had going on. Thankfully I was able to rule out transmission problems immediately. I quickly learned about this little bushing holding the shift cable onto the shifter and a YT video described getting a quality replacement from BushingFix on Amazon. I immensely ordered it on Saturday and commenced to taking the dash apart to get to it. What was left of the original bushing fell into my hand. The replacement arrived 2 days later and after some finessing to push it through the cable loop it popped right onto the shifter stem. Yes its pricey for such a small part but it beat a $100.00+ tow job to the garage and at least $200.00 in labor, because all the work is in getting the dash apart to reach the cable inside the shifter console.

Would not buy again...
Purchased March 2024 because the original broke in my 2010 Forte, fortunately I was in town at the time and could get it towed home because I didn't know what was wrong then. Installed this bushing and have been driving the car since. Today (June 25, 2025) I was 2.5 hours from home, returning from visiting my dad in the NICU, and this replacement broke. Also a good hour from them, but fortunately I recognized the issue immediately and had tools. Removed the center concole and moving the cable directly to get home. Writing this from the gas station parking lot where it happened.I would not buy this product again. If you choose to, I'd recommend buying a spare and keeping it in the glove box with tools. You'll need a Phillips screwdriver, a 10mm socket, and a ratchet with at least a 6" extension (or very short handle).Hopefully you'll have better luck, but I will not be getting this product again. I'm going to order a different brand and hoping it will arrive before I head back to visit Friday night or Saturday. In the meantime, I'm investigating a different fix tomorrow in case it does not get here in time. Hopefully something more permanent.

Worked on my Kia Optima.
The bushing does what it is supposed to do. Paying $30 for a small piece of rubber hurts, but doing it yourself instead of going to a shop makes up for the high price of the part. This was easy and hard to install. Hard only because of the tight space I had to install the bushing. I ended up dropping the piece and it was a headache retrieving it under the shifter. Here is a pro tip. Put a string through the bushing and the cable you are installing. It will allow you not to drop the bushing and install it in the correct way. Pull the string out when done so that you can slide back into position.I used it on a 2013 KIA Optima. Once I used the string method it took 5 minutes. It took an hour to retrieve the piece after I dropped it.

Amazing product, easy install and back on the road!
I can’t say enough good about this product! This is an item you won’t know you need until you can’t put the car in gear or get it started. Mine was on Lexus RX300. You only need to remove the wood trim piece around the shifter - use a putty knife to pop it off. Then remove the wire connectors from the power plug, heated seat switch and traction off switch. You can reach it all easy, car in neutral is the most slack. Remove the old pieces from the hole in the cable connection, grease the pin and the new bushing and push it on- slotted side goes first. Then push it onto the shifter pin and your done. Reassemble the trim piece, putting the wires back on the switches. Your done 15-30 minutes. Also I shoved rags in the abyss because you do not want to drop this little thing and go looking for it! Might be a little pricey for what you get, but well engineered and worth every dollar.
