Oculus Rift CV1 Compatible Sensor Wall Mount/Display, Command Strip Included (Black, 3 Pack)

So I ordered two of these that way I could mount my sensors, instead while I paid for 2 sets of 2, I got 1 set of 2 and 1 individual, seems shady to me that these guys would charge you for a 2 pack but then decide you only need 3. I wonder if this is how they do business, I wonder if they've done this to other people and other people just shrug it off.Anyway the mounts work well, my only other complain is each mount is not a mirror of the other which means each mount has a cut out for you to run the wire on the right side which kind of turns the sensor in a specific direction, so for the other mount you can't use the cutout to run your wire.For example, you put a mount on the wall on left, you run the wire through its cutout which slightly turns the sensor towards the middle of the room, helpful. You then put the second mount up at the right, you want that sensor to point to the middle of the room as well, you line the wire into the cutout and it forces the sensor to turn in the same direction as the mount you put on the left. Hard to explain, I know, hope that makes sense.

I bought these for an iRacing rig i have. The rig faces the wall and didn't really have a great place for the stands. I placed these on the wall and they are secure and out of the way. I placed them 40" up from the ground and they are just under 36" apart, and level. My wife saw them and said "Nice". I really like the cord management clip in the sides. It does come with command strips to mount them, so that was a plus.My only word of caution is to be careful which way you place the wall mount strip on the holder, I placed on it upside down, it still works, but the pull tab to remove the holder is facing up and not down. Totally my error and not a flaw of the design in any way, shape, or form. I was just to excited to try them. I could remove it and replace it with a new command strip, but I didn't think it was necessary.

Update 10/21/19After a couple months the tape on one of the mounts lost its adhesive and fell off but thankfully it wasn't from a high height. Not gonna dock a star for it as it's command strips so wasn't expecting much outta it. Just bought a strong double sided Scotch tape from Home Depot and it's holding much better than the Command ones so far. Pretty durable though as that same mount actually fell off several times with no chips or breakage so that's something. Just be wary of the tape.Original ReviewCheap and durable. Looks kinda ugly with the cords and what not but you'll eventually forget about them. Just be careful when sticking them to the wall as I had found out their kind of a one use kind of glue. So be sure to measure the placement and that you're gonna be satisfied with where there gonna be long term, otherwise you'll have to go to a nearby store and get more command strips like I had to. Other than that, perfect product. Captures me literally room scale and I can do as many actions as I could before, like laying on the ground and still sensing me. Makes for a better fun VR experience.

I was looking for an easy way to mount my sensors on the wall, and this fit the bill. I reduced a star for only having a wire insert on one side, which others have mentioned in their reviews. Overall I am happy with the results. Some people have mentioned only having once chance at placement. What I did was stick these up on the wall with a few strips of painters tape and then run the oculus setup to verify positioning, then mounted them with the 3m strips. The sensors and mounts are so light that a few strips of tape could probably hold them forever. Overall a solid buy.

This product is basically what I expected, based on the other reviews. I'm all set up and liking these wall mounts.A few negative points, though I still recommend this product due to the lack of VR accessories out there:(1) the sticky tape was not right for my wall(2) I would have liked a screw hole to screw it into the wall.(3) white and off-white colors would be nice options, since most walls use those colors.(4) And lastly, since I'm considering now getting a 3rd sensor: They're sold out!!! With no indication of when they'll have more. :(

I'm supposed to trust some half-assed 3d printed plastic, attached to my wall by some 3m strips? This product is unacceptable. The inconsideration put into the development, is irritating. "Here, trust your expensive electronics in our plastic piece. Screws? Nahhhh, here's some tape"

the 3m adhesive pads that come with it didn't hold up well, I replaced them with the 3m velcro adhesive stuff because i had it sitting around and that has been pretty good, would still be better if it had 2 offset screw holes on the back so you could use mounting screws on the wall instead of just 3m adhesive pads. hardware is solid and does what you need it to do though.

I've been looking for a way to improve my sensors locations, usually they are right on my desk on the stands that came with them, however they have trouble seeing my hands when I have to go below the desk. I saw these and decided to give them a try, as the headline says, they get the job done, but... they feel incredibly cheap, the holes are barely big enough to force the sensor into. I'm giving them 3 stars, although I think they could be better, they do as they are intended to do.

Do not bye this, Unless you want to replace your sensors after they fall off the walls. these did not even stay up for 1 evening. 2 ruined sensors.I feel this company should be held responsible for selling such rubbish.

VERY STRONG VELCRO. Also i had to move mounts a few times and stickers still have a good grip on the wall! Also it will make no damage to your wall :)
