Best thing ever!!
Absolute perfection!! I love my Opal ice maker, but refilling the water chamber is a real pain! It makes a lot on of ice but the reservoir isn’t big enough to avoid refilling daily. Enter the amazing side tank!!! It is super easy to set up and attach and it works perfectly! I now only need to fill the tank about every 4-5 days or so. No need to remove the ice basket or guess the water level in the reservoir. I always have ice at the ready and can easily see when the tank needs to be refilled. For me, the price is well worth the added convenience. HIGHLY recommend!!

Works beautifully and a must need
For anyone that has an opal ice maker, this is a great addition. It's easy to clean and allows for not only greater water storage but it's how I refill the entire system without having to go through the main compartment. Recommend to go with distilled only water for this and opal ice maker. Clean with bleach solution quarterly.

Thinner than the original
It is slightly different than the original. I feel like it is going to fall over because it’s so tall and thin. However, it gets the job done and was a great replacement for my previous side tank.

A Must to Have
A must for anyone purchasing the Opal ice maker. Installs easily and keeps from needing to refill frequently - only fill it 1-2 times each week. Should come with the unit automatically.

BTW - yes the clip does come with this, I looked at all reviews and none mentioned this, so I ordered one separately grrr now I will need to return it. Even the description doesn’t mention it. I only received this today and will update again but so far all seems to be working good. Wish there was a way to fill from the top half and not have to take it out and turn upside down to fill. This would have made it much easier to refill the canister.
