I purchased this cabinet for additional storage in our bathroom, thinking I would store towels in it. Given its size, it is possible to store towels in it but you have to get creative with the folding. For example, if I folded a regular bath towel in half, half again, and half again (which is my typical technique) there is not enough depth to close the doors after that towel goes on the shelf. I had to change to fold in half, half again, then into thirds. This works, but still not ideal. If you don't have too much stuff to store in it, it's a nice looking cabinet.
