The Art of Toy Story: 100 Collectible Postcards Cards – December 9, 2009

This set of 100 postcards contains art from all the three Toy Story movies. Most of them are storyboards, character designs and the rest are sketches, pastels lighting studies. They are all pretty nice. When you lay them all out, you'll see a lot of white (with drawings of course) because a lot of storyboards are featured.You'll see a few familiar pieces of art if you have the book  Toy Story The Art and Making of the Animated Film . There are some new ones also, mainly from Toy Story 2 since there wasn't any art book released for the sequel. So you'll get to see character designs for Jessie, Stinky Pete and Bullseye.I counted two postcards that had art from Toy Story 3, one of which is a big pastel "3". That's a far cry from the product description "the set will feature an exclusive selection of art from the highly anticipated Toy Story 3". So much for marketing speak.The cutting of these postcards aren't perfect in the sense that they aren't all of equal size. Some are cut about 1mm off. Not a big deal but I do like every piece to be of equal size. I also have  The Art of Pixar: 100 Collectible Postcards  which are cut perfectly.If you're a big Pixar fan, this is for you. Yes, more great Postcards from Disney/Pixar!I have bought the PRevious sets of the Art of Pixar, Volumes 1 & II, and was excited to find they had also released a set based on just the Toy Story Films.Yes, some of these cards have appeared previously in the other Pixar sets, but are still good to have again, as they are great cards from fantastic films.Like the previous editions, they have actual film frames, along with the development Artwork cards.I am looking forward to sending these cards to my friends, the young (who love the films) and the Young-At-Heart (whose Grand-children love the films).Keep the products coming, gang! I will keep buying - they are great!Well Done!

If you love Pixar or animation in general this is for you!I am a HUGE Toy Story fan so I had to buy this as soon as it came out. It has wonderful postcards revealing stills, "Andy's" drawings of the toys, simple sketches, different ways the character would've looked among other things.Overall, a great product.

How could you not love this product?! Great artwork. This will put a smile on your face. I am using them as my guest book for my wedding. So excited.

I adore these sets. Some of the art cards are so great that ive framed them. I own both pixar sets as well as the toy story set ad i can say they are completely worth the money for any pixar fan!

De belles cartes dans l'ensemble mais certaines me laissent sur une déception. Le prix répare cela. Mais le concept de ces cartes à collectionner est excellent. J'espère juste que Disney fera mieux si il reconduit cette action, car il y a à faire. Sans rancune
