This is a great little tool to help stop your dog from eating too fast! We have a miniature dachshund who LOVES his food and will inhale anything we feed him to the point where he'll sometimes throw it back up because he's eaten it too quickly.We tried feeding him his dinner with this slow feeder insert inside his usual bowl and it worked a treat! It took him a good while longer to be able to pick all the kibble out of his bowl, which is exactly what we needed. It's super easy to put in the bowl and to take it back out, and just as easy to wash it ready for his next meal!I also love that it's designed to be cuttable so it fits bowls of pretty much any shape or size. I would 100% recommend this if your dog has no control over how quickly they eat!

Love the flexible rubber. Still slows down a ravenous labrador really well. Seems very sturdy. Certainly better than a slow feeder bowl, which a labrador's broad snout won't fit in..

Highly recommend if your dog likes to eat their meal in one breath! This has slowed our dog down from eating it within 10 seconds to adding a couple of minutes, sometimes he leaves a few behind and goes back later too. Very easy to clean and sticks securely in his bowl.

Works wonders in slowing down our Doberman when eating - helps to reduce gas from both ends!!

The product is well designed, was shipped quickly and it works well. The only downside is that it seems to hold the stench of the dog food, even after cleaning. We use dry kibble, salmon flavoured and no matter how hard we clean, the smell of salmon still lingers. May be fine with chicken and other flavours but we haven’t tried them.

My dog is quite the foodie. Honestly, I don't think there's anything that could really slow her down other than portion control, and I don't have time to give her a biscuit at a time.What does it for me is the fact that it does split the food up into different compartments within the bowl, which does slow her down.The insert is durable, and easily removed thanks to the suction cups.However, one thing I do find is that it's a bit too easy to remove, as it does seem to shift around the bowl and is removed, but I honestly think that is down to my dog actually going at it (either when eating or just trying to lick all the crumbs off).I have noticed an improvement though in her digestion/reflux. Since using this item, she doesn't nearly choke herself as much, or "gipping" afterwards.

Nothing is going to make my dog a leisurely eater but this fits perfectly in his bowl and makes sure he can’t gulp things down. Because little bits of food can get caught around the silicon, he stands for quite a while licking everything, which means he isn’t going mad running around the second he’s finished, either. A happy customer and a happy hound!

My crazy 90lb Shepard lab mix eats so fast that she ends up vomiting. This simple product has helped her slow down. No more vomiting episodes. She is also content with slightly less food. The suctions hold well and it is easy to clean. Perfectly fits her dog bowl. We are happy cutomers.

I really like this! My dog has a habit of scoffing down all his food in one go and ends up burping all night. We've got several snuffle mats but this suction insert is great for when we're in a rush and dont want to spend time literally hiding bits of food in material. Definitely slows him down! We've had it a couple months now and no damage to it at all. We didn't need to cut the flaps at all as it sits perfectly in his bowl. Also easy to clean. The only thing thats annoying is that it sometimes slides around inside his metal bowl like side to side so he has managed to slip it all the way out the side a couple of times. Not the biggest deal because the suction is good but just a comment. Overall I would buy again.
