Refractor 600x50mm Telescope, Deep Space Viewing Telescope 181561

Had a very thin layer of padding no box and not all of the pieces

I purchased the Bushnell Refractor 600x50mm from another retailer, and I can't recommend this scope for astronomical use, or really for any kind of use. The 50mm aperture is too small to get good details of anything but the moon (I actually measured the diameter of the objective lens to be 45mm because of a metal ring under the lens. They do this to reduce optical imperfections in the lens). Objects like Jupiter and Saturn are very small and very dim, showing almost no detail. Also, this scope has an incredibly narrow field of view (the objective lens is approx. F/13.3 by my calculations), meaning that you don't see much. It's like looking through a soda straw. At higher magnifications, objects like the planets and stars become fuzzy. The eyepieces and Barlow lenses that come with this scope are very low quality and the maximum useable magnification of this telescope is really under 75x, not the much higher magnification advertized. I substituted a much nicer quality eyepiece and the views improved a lot. The worst thing about this telescope is the tripod which is very wobbly and not stable. Do yourself a favor and do not purchase this telescope. If you are interested in astronomy, do not be tempted by the low price tag. Save your money and buy a better telescope with a larger aperture (in the $250-300 range, minimum, and from a more reputable brand).

La caja llego un poco rota, pero el telescopio estaba en buen estado y bien embalado; el problema es que tienes que ajustarlo para enfocar bien, le tuvimos que quitar la parte del codo para poder enfocar bien la luna pero despues funciono de maravilla y se ve nítido

Excellent value, good quality space views. Real easy to set up and use, can see the planets and the moon with nice detail. This is the 2nd simple Bushnell telescope I have bought, it works very well. Who knows what bondage comes with Tleilaxu eyes?
