I am a conservation student for library and archival material. I bought this set mainly for the storage bag, so I cannot really speak for the quality of the tools themselves (although I have found several of them quite useful for my line of work). That being said: the storage bag is well-made with durable materials, and it holds most of my tools just fine! I only wish it were bigger and could be purchased separately (ie. without the additional tools) in the future.

It's OK to start with but some of the stuff is kinda junky. I wish I would have purchased a nicer set that included some pricking forks. If youre not sure if you'll use it, it's an ok kit to try.

This is an excellent kit for the value, but there are a couple more out there (all made in China) that have a few more punches and stitch chisels for a few dollars more. Every kit needs a mallet and a needle-threader, too.

I ordered this because I had a few projects to finish. I was able to make my repairs and they didn't look like the half-assed jobs I usually end up with. There are a lot of things that I probably won 't use, but it's nice to know I've got them.

Wished there had been a selection of Glues added to Set. Now I have to go out somewhere to purchase some Glue, what kind I have no idea.

I haven't used it yet. But now have everything needed for the job, structurally.

The tools are small the beveled were dull and watch out for the set screw on the edging tool it I'll strip out easily
