AMAZING!
The only word to describe this device is AMAZING! I have very many Hi8 videos to convert to MP4 format and this product from ClearClick is a breeze to set up (it took me longer to get the box open than to begin converting my first video!). The quality of the converted video to a usb flash drive is also great! The larger screen to watch the video as it is converted is a plus. Transferring the video to my computer is easy and fast. Considering the cost (and risk) of sending my videotapes to an outside company to convert them to an MP4 format, the cost of this converter is a bargain! Thank you ClearClick for this innovative, easy to use, quality product!

ClearClick HD Video Capture Box Ultimate 2.0
I have no complaints at all with this product. I ordered it to digitize my video collection (DV, Hi8, and VHS). The ClearClick HD Video Capture Box Ultimate 2.0 does everything it says it does. Hookup is simple. I use a USB Thumb Drive to have the digital files created on. Connection with RCA cables autodetects by the device when the video equipment play button is pushed and playing. USB was recognized immediately. Video is visible on both the camera LCD and the device LCD simultaneously. Video is captured as it is played. This device is GREAT!! Now my videos are being saved to MP4 and can be watched, shared, and backed up much easier. Love this item!

Works Great but Drains Batteries FAST
Records great but the issue I have is that it discharges pretty quickly even if it's turned off. I don't know if I received a defective unit or what but this is thing will sip on your batteries if you plan on using it for something portable. No issues functionally. Just really disappointed with how quickly the battery discharges.

The product blocks recording (via HDMI) from the computer-family videos, TV, YouTube,
Unfortunately the product is not useful, I tried to record via HDMI from the TV, from the computer (family videos, videos I edited, YouTube...), I keep getting a message that it is not possible to record because the source is protected. In conclusion, I regret purchasing this product, it cost a lot of money

Great price & great device.
So far, I like everything about this recorder. I use it in conjunction with a Lumantec VS4 video switcher to record multi-camera videos in a live concert setting. More convenient than using OBS on my laptop to record because it's stand alone and frees up my laptop for other tasks. Withholding the last star until I see how well it act as a doggle for live video streaming. More to come...

Works as advertized
Easily digitizes VHS tapes via the composite input. Lots of features, inputs and outputs.

Great Design for Recording NON-COPYRIGHTED Video
This system is great for recording video that does not have any copyright blocks on it. Because of this copyright block on recording video, it did not record ANY video from (1) my Charter/Spectrum cable TV (live broadcasts or from the Cable DVR) and (2) my ROKU streaming service. I was able to find a "work-around" to record at least one of the programs that I wanted to make a copy of using this ClearClick HD Video Capture Box Ultimate 2.0.

This is a very versatile system
I liked the "video source 4 button" selection system located on the remote control - instead of menus that you constantly have to go deeper and deeper into to change such settings. The included "multiple source video input" wires were like the electronic alternative to a Swiss army knife with all the various "built in" ends to it - but it gets the hookup done in short order.
