Good and fast

It arrived very quickly in a small, protective package. I have awarded five stars on the basis that it has preformed well initially with no reason to doubt its continued performance, e.g. I have four other Patriot flash drives, one I have used for ten years with some large, critical documents and it is still gong to strong, as quick as ever. Recommended.

Good for the price

Not a great deal to say on this one. The packaging is over the top. The device itself is nice and compact. It has a small hole if you were so inclined to attach it to your keys or if you're old enough. Like the Levis keyring you got with jeans. Who knew? The file transfer was quicker than expected. Next to no set-up. I found it value for money, but there are a lot to choose from.

Very seriously poor Write performance with both of these USB sticks. First of all the fastest achievable speed is 153MB/s Read. That's all fine and I am even happy with that performance! However, take a look at my Write speeds they start off good at 72/73MB/s. But as soon as you store for example, 3GB worth of data inside the USB that Write speed immediately drops to 34MB/s speeds!! And it never recovers back to the original 73MB/s. So, I then made an experiment and deleted the content and when it is empty the Write speed recovers. And yes, both sticks are plugged in the USB 3.0 ports and I tried the back USB ports too and the results were the same. I reformatted the drive tried exFAT and NTFS formats and it does not improve the situation. The other big problem. See the third screenshot. Sometimes, randomly speeds will be capped to 40MB/s read and 30MB/s Write. This is happening with the front USB, though the back would show 153MB/s Read consistently. I bought a SanDisk Ultra Fit for £2 more and is performing at 300MB/s Read and 148MB/s Write and even after storing the same 3GB folder the speeds do not drop! I suggest everyone buy SanDisk Ultra Fit instead because it is double the performance for only a couple of quid more. For this reason I returned those Supersponic Rage Lite USB drives as they are not worth the money. They only look and sound good but that are just deceiving. I was deceived by their names. My biggest mistake is that I didn't look at benchmarks properly before buying it.

These drives are great - solid 60 MB/s WRITE on my 64gb, that's faster then a lot of similar priced drives READ 😂

Nice little USB with plenty of storage; very fast transfers compared to my older Sandisks. Extends to cover the USB section, slide back to reveal the silver slot. Its plastic, but seems robust enough to handle drops etc. Quite light in weight, would buy another no question.
