Hi, thanks your question. This stainless steel crossbar is telescoped in length to 10ft / 3m by turning it and can accommodate a 10-foot wide backdrop.

Q: Is this sturdier than the impact crossbar which threads together in the middle? the one i have bows at the middle with heavy muslin?

I have two, one that has 4 pieces and threads together and pro telescopic. I feel that the pro telescopic is sturdier. I use the pro telescopic for larger heavier items.
