Purchased easyfone shield for my mom who doesn’t like to use smart phones.Advantages:1. Big screen and keypad helps in easy visibility and dialing.2. Charging dock makes it easy for charging. Just place the phone in the dock and it charges. Easy for seniors.3. Good battery backup due to big battery size.4. Sturdy built quality. IP 68 rated , waterproof.5. Loud ringtone and quality of voice over phone is also good6. White list function makes it handy to avoid unwanted marketing calls. You receive calls only from phone number in white list.7. Photo dialing function is also handy for seniors who finds it difficult to search mobile number from phone book.8.unwanted menu items can be hidden to make the phone menu look simpler and to avoid changes made to settings by seniors unknowingly.9. Basically a good simple , practical and usable phone for seniors and ever travellers who want to have a sturdy simple phone with battery backup for basic calling.Disadvantages:1. Don’t expect other features available in android smart phones. It’s a special phone for special purpose.2. Camera is basic and quality is just ok.

The speaker is too weak so even younger people struggle to hear it, so it's even worse for the elderly. Buttons are stiff and unwieldy and the backlight is too dim. The screen is too small and dim as well. Very overpriced and definitely not worth getting. Regret buying it for my grandpa since he couldn't even get to use it properly.

Good one for old people and value for money

Feels good to hold. They should increase the number of speed dial numbers from just 8 (#1 & 5 are unavailable) to a minimum of 20 numbers. The flashlight should have been a white led instead of a normal orange. SOS numbers to be dialed should be 8 instead of 4, what with most people keeping their phones on silent/switched off during the night. Overall, a good phone for seniors with an easy charging dock, and long battery life. An extended warranty of up to 2 years at no cost is a welcome gesture.

Jio users should not buy this as the jio sim is not supported by this phone. It only supports old 2g sims.Otherwise the phone looks good as expected. Couldn't test much as there was no sim compatible for this phone.Initiated return but pickup agent rejected the return as the IMEI number doesn't match! Not sure where do they get IMEI number as it is not mentioned anywhere in any order invoice. It's present only on the phone.So in short this is a big hassle to buy this phone. Avoid. Instead try their Elite model which supports 4G sims.

Bought this for my 84 year old mother. Phone is very sturdy with some nice features like SOS, good sound, pic calling, torch at one touch, radio etc. The hold grip is good. Big keys, bigger screen. A well thought of features for sr citizen. Thank u Easyfone.
