Chooks seem to love it!
The media could not be loaded. I currently have 6 chickens ranging from hybrids through to show birds such as polish frizzles. I feed them layers pellets and corn. When I came across this product I decided to give it a try. The listing states this is a food conditioner, and as my girls are going through their winter moult I decided it may help them. The product is 4kg of mixed ingredients. It certainly has a lot more ingredients in it that my regular corn bags, which incidentally my girls go crazy for! I filled up my pecker toys with this product and as usual my girls all ran over and started feasting. They seemed to really enjoy it!One thing I would have liked is a resealable bag. I had to cut open the bag with a craft blade, but the problem with this is that you then need to decant the whole lot into a large container to stop it spilling out. If the bag was resealable then this would have been a huge bonus.Would I recommend this product? As a irregular treat then yes. The cost for me is pretty expensive for a 4kg bag. I normally buy a 15kg bag of corn for less than half this price. However as a special treat for my girls I may purchase again, especially if I do see an improvement in their plumage, but only time will tell if this actually helps. My girls are definitely worth a treat once in a while!!If you have 1 or 2 backyard chickens then I would say definitely treat them to this product, but if you have 6 or more like me then this won't last more than a few days, so could prove costly to buy on a regular basis.

Easy to use
So easy to give to our chickens and they were happy to eat it within their feed.It did make a noticeable difference in their condition I think, especially with a couple of the ex battery hens we'd just got who seemed to get their feathers back much quicker than others had with the addition of this into their feed.

Very expensive, but of an exceptional quality.
I've ordered this poultry chicken & game bird food conditioner to feed the birds in my garden.I have quite a big garden with many trees and bushes, so many different birds live there. The bird food arrived in a seethrough 4kg bag.It looks of an excellent quality. It is very clean mix of different seeds without any 'dust'.It is perfect combination of what most birds needs to be healthy. It seems that all birds bigger and smaller ones like these seeds. This bird food smells nicely and very aromatic of aniseed.Very expensive, but of an exceptional quality. The best bird food I had so far.The best before date is 31st December 2022.If the price isn't an issue, I would happily recommend this mix of seeds, because of its quality.

How it Compares to One of the Top Mixed Corn Brands:
With the likes of Kibbled Maize, Red Dari, Peeled Oats, Striped Sunflower, Split Peas & White Millet suitable even for a young pullet and with a delicious smell, im not surprise are flock of Orpingtons, Burford Browns, Legbars and a Cuckoo Maran gobble this up greedily at treat time. This is a amazing blend, im not overexerting, it looks far superior to my usual mixed corn I purchase - and prior to getting this, I thought there was I held in higher regard. But this mixture has topped my preconceptions. There is an issue though...As a comparison, I purchase 15kg bags or Marriage's Royal Variety Mixed Corn - my preferred brand. I regularly buy the Marriages in 5kg bags which I can buy for just under £4 a bag and just under £10 for 15kg. So, buying this mixture for the current £20 for a lesser 4kg, works out to be very expensive, even if it is superior to Marriages - which is otherwise excellent too in my opinion.• Which one do I prefer?Shamelessly, this new one. The variety in this blend is visibly stunning, I know they're eating goodness and to top it, it's hugely enticing for our cooks.• Would I buy it again? Not at this price, as they can go through a bag like this in no time and as our chickens are raised primarily for eggs at the moment, it simply isn't cost effective to feed them such a pricey treat when their eggs already outmatch Clarence Court eggs in naturally deep orange yolk colour and unrivaling flavour.4 stars. Would have been an undeniable 5 if the price was proportionate.

Nice product but very expensive
At the current price of £20 for 4kg this is pretty expensive, although it’s a nice mix of seeds and grains with added aniseed. My chickens enjoy this but tend to leave the sunflower seeds. The mix is very similar to a premium wild bird seed that I currently get which also includes aniseed and only lacks the mung beans that are included in this mix. At £12.99 for 13 kg that works out way more economical so I’m more inclined to stick to that.

Chucks are liking it
A bit expensive as feed if you have a few birds but for my two this makes a good treat. Looks very good, full of goodness. It's obviously a premium feed, that's apparent.
