So far I used the "Cat 6 Outdoor Ethernet Cable Bulk 328ft/100M (20 RJ45), Shielded Cat 6 Ethernet Cable Direct Burial, Heavy Duty 23AWG, Waterproof, UV Resistant, Internet Cable, Cat6 300+ft for Router Gaming, CCA" for a 100+ ft and 10ft run with the RJ45s provided. The line was in great condition and wires felt like the appropriate grade. Both cables that I made had no issue with manufacturing quality and speed test of the line gave me the full 1gb u/d speeds of my network with no jitter, <1ms latency and no packet loss. My 1 nitpick is that I wish the RJ45s allowed for the wires to pass through as it was difficult to see if they reached the contacts at the end. This would eliminate guessing if you made the cable correctly and would reduce waste of the cable and RJ45s due to the wires not reaching contacts after crimping them.

I've never spent my own cable but with the end connectors I was able to write for outlets in my house and created the short cables to connect devices to the network.

I missed in the description that these are not pure copper conductors. Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA) may not be suitable outdoors in an environment where temperature swings from -16F to 110F. Maybe ok in temperature controlled environment. Had to return it.

I purchased this to run a network drop to my father-in-laws detached garage workshop so he could have complete connectivity and coverage throughout his property.Cable quality is good and it seems to be working just fine being directly buried and not in conduit.Good price for what it is as well.

I just installed new wifi 7 mesh routers, with 5Gb ethernet backhaul connections.I ran this cable through the crawl space under the house, for a total of around 70 feet of cable.The routers all report solid 5Gb with no errors. Wow! Good stuff!

I have yet to negotiate a 1Gbps link between any network devices connected via this cable. I've created multiple cables from it, cable tested each and validated that every strand in each twisted pair are receiving signal, and still not getting advertised speeds. What's worse, I was naive enough to believe this would "Just work" and so ran long lengths between points, securing to the side of a structure, which now must be all undone. Make sure you research CCA (copper clad aluminum) and understand the caveats before you purchase. I ended up buying a competing product whose manufacturers guarantee solid copper twisted pair and test each bundle. Costs a bit more, but should allow 1Gbps speeds as advertised, and will work with PoE which is a requirement for my use case.
