The Cryptex Da Vinci Code Money Puzzle Box was an awesome and unique gift idea for sons golden birthday. I set the password to “golden,” thinking it would take a while to figure out, but he guessed it almost immediately, which made the moment even more fun and memorable. It is really well made, heavy, looks great, and adds an exciting puzzle element to giving cash or small gifts. Definitely a creative way to make a birthday gift more special. It was a total hit!

Great puzzle! Definitely does its job and keeps wandering eyes out! Pretty smooth movement, just gets a bit stuck with a couple of the letters. This one actually has to be solved to change the code, which works great! Fits a small gift (necklace, bracelet) or paper. Definitely difficult for others to open, but super easy once you have the code. Totally recommend for those looking to make gift giving fun and challenging!

Alright im going to go 4 stars on this. It is a cool idea. I ordered copper at a higher price thinking im paying for material, no its just like kind of copper colored, not even plated or anything, at least that i can tell. The letter rings that work as the locking mechanism have a lot of play in them. I think with better dies, that play could be removed. Came with two I guess lord of the rings style rings, some kind of script on them. Overall though it is a nicer way to give case as a gift than a card. At least for milestone occasions.

Wow!! I loved gifting this with a surprise inside. It's a good solid weight, looks like an expensive piece, and can be passed around and used over and over. The secret code can easily be changed for each use. Great quality and worth the money. Nice packaging too.

Great gift idea It really works and is well made... The code is changeable, instructions are included, and I think it makes a great gift, especially if you want to surprise someone... It's made from metal and has some weight to it. Not your ordinary gift!

I plan on giving one of my boys a substantial cash gift this Christmas and have been searching for a special gift box. Boy, does this fit the bill...pun intended! This is HEAVY metal, heavier than anticipated.. The bronze makes it look rich, expensive and antiquish. The interior compartment is fairly small but should be able to accommodate the money I intend to gift. It would be perfect for love notes and such or for those who enjoy history, puzzles and/or all things mysterious. You do not need to set a combination as it will open when the letters read "ILOVEU". Assembly is required. I have not yet put this one together but the instructions appear to be well written and there are good photos in the product description. It comes in a nice hard box perfect for gifting. Very satisfied. IMO, well worth the price. UPDATE: THERE IS NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED...I was mistaken in my previous review. If you want to leave the code as "ILOVEU" the puzzle box is ready to use. You only need to disassemble if you want to change the code. Also, not mentioned above, is the enclosed set of engraved wedding bands (too small for these old eyes to read), super glue, two extra super tiny screws, a tiny phillips-head screwdriver, two cord necklaces ( I presume for the wedding bands), a card with a metal butterfly and a good instruction sheet. Looks like this is set up perfectly as a wedding proposal puzzle box. Hope this info is helpful.

I wanted something unique for my grandson's birthday to place money within it. This was perfect! The puzzle box is so heavy and I was so happy to see the quality of it. It comes with directions to change the Da Vinci Code and also came with rings inside it to show how you could use it that way as well. He loved opening it and it was the highlight of the party!
