It's a cute toy and mostly works but it didn't hold my child's attention for more than a few minutes. He's had magnetic puzzle games that look very similar that do keep his attention for a long time.My biggest two issues is first of all, one of our magnets doesn't stick. They're not very strong, which is fine, but one doesn't stick at all despite having the magnetic backing. So it's probably a very cheap magnet back. Second, there's not an equal distribution of colors, so you can't make patterns very well. For example, we have at least one piece where there is no other color like it.On the upside, the tin it comes in is perfect for storing them, as well as playing with the magnets inside of it. And it's thin enough to stick even in the back seat pouch in the car for travel use.
