Each card is beautifully designed, featuring beloved characters and iconic moments from the series. The artwork is detailed and vibrant, capturing the essence of Buffy and her gang perfectly. Every shuffle and draw brought back fond memories of the show's best episodes. The quality of the cards is top-notch. They have a nice, sturdy feel and a smooth finish, making them easy to handle and durable for frequent use. The guidebook is also fantastic, providing insightful interpretations and explanations for each card, all while keeping true to the show's themes and characters. If you're a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, this tarot deck will not disappoint. It's a delightful addition to any collection, combining practicality with a wonderful trip down memory lane. Themed Tarot card decks can be remarkably underwhelming sometimes... Not this one! The amount of thought that goes into each card is phenomenal. Each character is deeply understood when they select which card to put them to. It makes *sense* rather than being for a gimmick. Don't get me started on Death or the Hanged Man. The art itself is gorgeous. The strong purple, reds, and pinks are prevalent in all the cards, but each character is clearly recognizable in a style that's very pleasing to look at. I'd say this is a great set for even those just starting out with Tarot, that know Buffy and Co well. My sister gushed to me about each one (who I got this for), but even I could understand some of the cards before checking the guidebook or asking her, simply from my knowledge of the characters. I've gotten her sets in the past (different company, different medias) that didn't even come close to this level of intuitive readability. Bravo!

The cards are gorgeous, to start with. The art is amazing. I love who/what was chosen to be used for each card, and love the way they paralleled the usual suits (as explained in the booklet). Also, as a long time Buffy fan, there are just so many happy references peppered in, it delights me to see all of these goodies on the cards. The booklet is very fun, and feels like it was written as an extension of the show and how everyone speaks. I also love that they included reversals along with the upright cards. That was a happy surprise. (It's always so boring when books/booklets don't include reversals.) When it comes to the physicality: The box is handsome, thick, sturdy, and there's a ribbon to snake under the cards to help you get them out that also snakes underneath the booklet. The card stock for this deck feels really good, and it's decently thick, and the cards have held up to several shuffles from me so far. It's bent a little, but that's to be expected. I collect tarot decks, and not all of them have been the best, but this one is amazing. Five stars.

This deck is to die for and to come back from the dead for! As a Buffy nerd, I adore this deck; I love the illustrations, the card meanings are full of Buffy references, and the box and book are beautiful as well. Each card has so many great little visual details from the show, and it blends new art with the classic Pamela Colman Smith art perfectly. I have many decks, but this is the one I use the most, as it brings me so much joy.

I absolutely LOVE this deck!! The artwork is beautiful and the readings have been very accurate. The only problem I have is with the thickness of the cards themselves - they are VERY difficult to shuffle, and after just a few uses the cards became all curved (they won’t lay flat in the box anymore). If not for that I would’ve given it five stars

Just for kicks, I'm learning tarot, and this Buffy set is BEAUTIFULLY illustrated. The packaging is lovely, and the guide booklet inside is user-friendly AND fun to read. I don't know what an experienced tarot user would think of this deck, but, as a Buffy fan, I love it and think it's a must-have for Buffy fans. As a tarot novice, I think this deck works incredibly well and correlates with Rider-Waite-Smith well, too. The Major Arcana cards in this Buffy deck make TONS of sense correlated with RWS. But I'll admit that it's a little less intuitive to grasp the Minor Arcana in this Buffy deck alongside RWS. I'm finding that it's helpful to use the included Buffy guide booklet AND a Rider-Waite-Smith book in conjunction to interpret my spreads. That's helping me figure out the "why" behind the Minor Arcana Buffy cards and helping me see how the Buffy booklet's explanations relate to the RWS Minor Arcana explanations. With the Major Arcana in this Buffy deck, you don't need to take that extra step (of using an RWS book alongside the Buffy booklet), in my opinion, because those cards do align so perfectly with RWS's Major Arcana; you can just look at those ones and really "get" them immediately.

I love this deck so much! It is so nuanced and adorable. 🥰 For example, six of cups is Joyce and Giles from “Band Candy.” This isn’t just a generic product. The artist and writer clearly know their Buffyverse. The card stock is very high quality, as well. Lovely lovely! Makes my day.

The cards are of a good quality not flimsy and the depictions on each cardis spot on. I am thrilled with the artistry and how they aligned each character to a particular major or minor arcana. I am a huge fan of the Series and l love to dabble in tarot. These cards reasonate with me on many levels. I would recommend this Tarot deck.

The Buffy Tarot Deck arrived in great condition, the box was covered in a plastic shrink wrap- and it was inside a box stuffed with air bubbles! - PACKAGING - The packaging of the product itself is beautifully designed, making for a great collector's item. The outer box is printed matte in nature, with Buffy as the centerpiece in gloss finish. The inside of the box as well as the book and cards are all printed in matte texture. The section that holds the deck together, is an origami folded design, making it efficient with getting the job done- and no glue or other heavy packaging process. - DECK - The cards themselves isn't flimsy, they are slightly thicker than the standard tarot card density used to print, but I enjoy that. It feels sturdy and less likely to bend after many uses of shuffling. The color pallet in the deck ties together nicely with the colors for the packaging and booklet, making for a very cohesive presentation. The cards are a smooth slightly matte, slightly velvet texture feel. They do not glow under black UV light, in case any of you are curious. - VIBE CHECK - The cards when used personally gave me a very grounded and practical energetic impression, it focuses a lot in getting to the root of the issue/situation at hand- and has a very sobering approach to resolving it. It is excellent at taking off rose colored glasses to any perspective we may develop - while being that compassionate and honest sidekick we need most, in chasing our dreams. I enjoy very much how each card archetype has both a light aspect to its message, and a shadow aspect as well. - Booklet - So far, I haven't encountered any instances where the descriptions did not match the cards, but the descriptions do make me realize how much I should revisit and rewatch episodes of Buffy to remember the wisdom and lessons formed from each adventure. However - even without having watched the episodes or remember them, there is a brief summary of the lesson learned, and you can take that for face value and combine your intuition to form a story in your tarot reading. At the back of the booklet there are a few spreads that are inspired by the world of Buffy, and I have found them to be quite useful and insightful. - SUMMARY - All in all, no regrets made with this purchase. Great price, great concept, and it brought the grounded and practical perspective in helping me integrate a more action oriented, healthy ego, and hands-on approach to personal growth. Grounding the "As Above" to the "So Below". I am very happy with this deck!
