Heavy Duty For Being Small
Heavy duty and heavy smell. LOL! When you first get these, open them outside and leave them outside for a couple of days as the rubber stinks. It goes away quickly though and they are heavy duty and work great. I didn't pay attention to the size and they are a little skinnier and smaller than I thought but that's not really a negative. They work great with no issues.

Really small but work
They are a lot smaller than expected but they work for our small RV and seem of much better quality than the plastic ones.

Solid, Strong, Super-Functional & Fairly Priced
I use chocks to control the trailers under the antique boats we restore. My need is for compact, super rigid and strong carcinogen-free chocks.Rubber is the way to go for me. I did purchase other (plastic) chocks from Amazon, as well as several big box stores. Yes, they were also strong, if much less rigid. And, yes, they were not accompanied by any sort of unpleasant odors. However, when I really looked, I discovered that all these plastic chocks shared one horrible, possibly deadly problem. They may have been, or in once case actually were manufactured using chemicals that are known carcinogens. No way will I subject my crew or anyone around me to carcinogens that are gassing off from items we use in the shop.I only gave "Light weight" above two stars. Why? Well, these guys have tough work to do - keeping a trailer with a heavy boat on board from rolling around. Yes, they weigh a couple, maybe five pounds each, which is a huge advantage. You want chocks to be heavy, not light, so that question is pretty dumb. These chocks, being heavy rubber, do not share possibly gassing off carcinogens. Finally, yes, they did smell and were quite unpleasant to be around when they first arrived. However, I simply set them aside outdoors. We could not discern odors of any significance when we put them in service, which means often working beneath trailers being stabilized by, and therefore, very close to these chocks.I will likely purchase more of these chocks as the need arises in the future. Finally,

Better quality than expected
Great product for the money. I bought them to keep my boat and trailer in place and they are perfect. There is an empty cavern under the taller part so I plan to drill a few holes in the back of these and attach some rope for pull handles and carrying. These are exactly what I was hoping for.Regarding the smell... Yeah, mine showed up smelling like they had been soaked in gasoline. As soon as I opened the box it permeated my house. No big deal for me. I immediately took them out to the driveway and put them under the boat trailer tires. They'll air out on their own. You could probably wash them with some dish soap and remedy most, if not all, of the smell issue if you are going to use them in your garage.

Toxic odor
They work well but the odor is really bad, strong toxic odor. I have to bring them separately in the bed of the truck. Cannot pack them in the RV storage space, the air becomes very toxic.

Strong, sturdy, heavy rubber. Does the trick!
These are heavy, sturdy, rubber wheel chocks. For some, a wee bit of industrial-like smell, but they're chocks! An insurance policy to make sure your auto doesn't roll back. They work!I accidentally tested them, too. I forgot I had them in place behind my rear tires. I was to back-up my car, put it in reverse, and the car wouldn't budge. Gave it a bit more gas, nothing (I didn't gun it, of course). The chocks held the car in place, even when under mild engine pressure. Under passive weighted pressure, I'm confident these chocks will keep the car from rolling.I got four included, btw. They're heavy rubber. And they're effective.
