Work good. Not as slippery as some . I like that they help to make stand up by itself but do big that you step on them

I'm VERY pleased with this cane tip. Had I known about its availability before I spent $45 or so on a well known brand billed as tip proof & collapsible (especially since I had a spare I didn't use) I would have bought this first. I struggled and maneuvered the old tip off my ordinary cane and worked hard adding the new cane tip. I twisted and stomped the new one on long and hard until I felt secure it was firmly attached. I love it. The tip is a little larger than the name brands but not so large that I have to be careful not to trip over it (ie. claw tip.) It makes my old cane slightly heavier so this may be an issue for some. It doesn't fold up. I don't know how it would work in a small car or in a row of seated people passing by. Realizing there is virtually nothing perfect this is close enough for my purposes. One last thing: I spent a little extra cash for the pink tip. If I must use a cane I may as well have something cheery to look at!

I had to quit using my four point cane because I kept kicking it and trying to trip over it. With the smaller footprint of this attachment, I have room to move my foot around .At first, this stood on its own fairly well. I became so used to a cane that stood by and waited for me, that I kept dropping regular canes because I forgot they didn't have four legs.This cane tip has worn in such a way that only on very flat surfaces will it even attempt to stand up. It no longer sits on low nap carpeting but sways until it falls down. It's almost like it has worn into a dome shape but the surface appears flat to the naked eye.I still like walking with it and have it attached to a folding cane so I can put it in the pocket of my bag and not have something huge sticking out of it. It also works better on snow and ice than my other cane did. I get complements on it because it's pink. Especially after the Barbie movie came out!

It really stands out! That was the point with me being not-elderly and people staring anyways. I had surgery and needed a cane after i ditched my walker. What's good about a distinctly different cane is that nobody can walk off with it because it doesn't look like other people's. You can't lose it--it's a bright medium pink. The handle is a really nice comfy grip and doesn't hurt to lean on. One reviewer started that the cane doesn't CLICK as you walk, and that's what she loved best; i have to wholeheartedly agree with her. I'm pretty sure i would get this again. The folding bit is great also and the little rigid band that you slide onto the cane to keep it folded can be easy to misplace--so i would recommend getting in the habit of keeping it in your handbag for when you're out. Unless you never fold it, that is. I bought a large gripper base for this for extra stability until I'm steadier. I figured if you've got it, flaunt it! I love this thing and don't regret a penny. The comfort alone is worth it and it's not even much money. The handle's silicone grip also helps to keep it from sliding when you rest it against the wall or hook it on a table. That is really helpful when you can't bend over to pick it up itlf it fell over.
