Excellent product!
Very pleased with this product! Very simple to install and the lights can be "tuned" to allow a yellow or white illumination. Well packaged and has a very clean look.

Great Replacement Lighting, They Work Great!
The replacement lights work perfectly, and were relatively straight forward to install. Very bright lighting, selectible color temperature, and they work great with a dimmer to set the lighting just right for vatious times of the day and night. We installed these over our kitchen counters, using the 3500k setting, and our kitchen is now brighter than it has ever been. Very pleased, would buy again and highly recommend.

Nice Cost Effective Update
We are updating the kitchen in our (new to us) house that was built in the 90s. It had some can lights that were a little grimy. These were a cost effective upgrade and they look nice. Much cheaper than getting new bulbs and replacing the whole old can too.We did the cool white tone and it is great. Perfect level of kitchen brightness and they don’t have that weird blue color like daylight white does.

Don't expect typical LED longevity
These lights are easy to install, look good, work well....but not for what one expects in the life of an LED. I've replaced 8 of these over the course of 4 years of sub-average duty. I need to replace more and won't buy this brand again. I've got to believe the Chinese know how to build a light bulb by now and these are clearly not their best effort. If they want to replace them, I'd accept the offer and give them a second chance on their dime. Until then, I strongly urge buyers to look elsewhere.Update: After writing to the company and receiving a very quick response, I can say Sunco stands behind their warranty (7 years) and is offering to replace the inoperable lights at no cost to me. Maybe initially I received a bad lot as these things do happen. With these replacements I hope to get the service I had originally expected. I'm impressed by Sunco's CS and willingness to make it right. As I said in my first post, these lights check all the boxes of form and function and now knowing they stand behind their products, I'm upgrading my rating to 4 stars.

Up dated look and broad lighting area.
I really like the way these look. I had the old eye ball can lights where the bulb could be changed as needed and could be rotated to where the beam of light wentI am amazed how much broader the area each of these new lights has. The old light bulbs illuminated a smallerarea. I changed out 12 of them and picked the color warmth right between cool and warm. There is a lever on the back that allows this.Actually my electrician did it for me in about an hour. I don't feel comfortable with electricity. He showed me how to do it and I think I could handle it if I wanted to. It's very simple. No hard wiring neededThe price was great for the new lights and it looks so updated. I just had them installed today so I will see how it goes with them. Don't think you could go wrong with these. No noise so far (didnt know they could make noise) and they look just as good as a more expensive can light.

New design does not work with Halo H7 cans from Home Depot
I purchased an earlier version of this light, and it fit into the H7 cans nice and tight up against the drywall. These newer designs changed the way that the springs attach to the trim, and the trim piece can no longer snug up tight to the drywall. The manufacturer emailed me to suggest that I try rotating or bending the springs so that they work with my fixtures, but after fiddling with it quite a bit, I can't find a way to make it work. Math keeps getting in the way!The issue is that the trim is sized so that it can work in a 5" or 6" can, and in order to make that work, the trim itself is much less than 6" in diameter. As a result, where the springs attach to the trim in the new design, they are somewhere between 4-5" apart. The c-clips in the can are more like 6" apart. When the trim is pushed up into the can, that 1" difference in diameter begins to force the spring to make an angle between the can and the trim. By the time the trim is pushed in as far as it can go, the angle needed between the can and the trim is too steep to allow the springs to fully pull the trim up. It fights against it.The old design had little adjustable mounts for the springs, and you could extend the springs away from the trim itself so that there was less of an angle to overcome. Worked really well. The manufacturer tells me they changed the design (probably to save money, now there are fewer parts), and that I should just try bending the springs. There appears to be no way to do that and at the same time have the spring do the job it needs to do. I am going to have to find a way to bend or remount the c-clips inside my cans to make it seem more like a 5" can.I have no idea if these will work with other recessed cans, but they aren't going to work for you if you have the 6" H7 cans from Home Depot.
