big pump in little package.
tried it for the 1st time yesterday. im SOLD on it.love the Auto shut off feature. but the PSI dropped about 2 lbs in a few seconds while trying to unscrew it.just fill tire up extra to make up for it if needed.I filled 9 Tires in a row! I used my portable Jumper/inflater box. (why not use built in inflator? because after 1 tire it shuts off for 10 min to cool down)non of my other 5 tire inflators last more than 2 tires before shutting down to cool down. and having to keep stop/start to check for correct tire pressure with separate guage sucked. This looks like a cheap green plastic tiny piece of Chit! but it acts like a mighty Giant!Update. had to reduce to 4 Star. civic ok...f150 ok..but my Tacoma, not so ok, the valve stems are more recessed in the rim and hard to get to and screw pump tip on/off Losing about 2 lbs of air in the process. if this PowRyte had the Press on tips with the flip down lock instead of the twist and thread on tip, it would be WAY Better.I will check back in a few months for Review update.

Gets the job done
Feels a little bit cheap & flimsy but gets the job done & doesn't take too long (like my old one). We'll see how long it lasts... One annoying thing is that the storage bag is really tight, I can't get it back in :(Update: No change to rating but feel its important to note, it acts like its broken alot when I go to use it (either the display will be blank or show random characters and may not let you do anything for a few minutes even though plugged in). But after a few mins all will appear & work like normal - some kind of charging delay which wasn't there when I first purchased? Might depend on time between uses?? Anyway, I thought it broke after the 4th use due to this issue but is still going.

Works okay once I figured it out.
We have a battery powered inflator which is fine for bikes and other small things, but it takes forever to inflate car tires. This one works off the car battery and fills the tires quickly. I had trouble figuring out how to use it, thus the minus of one star..I would have preferred an inflator which plugs into house sockets. The cord is just barely long enough to reach the tires on my SUV.The best way to use it is to set the target PSI and let it automatically cut off; it runs for a while after it shows that it has reached the target PSI. When I cut it off manually, I was stopping as soon as it reached the target, but then the PSI was too low when I checked.

Worth the $$$
Works as advertised without a glitch. Compact and capable, this is a decent combination of power and convenience. If it were any larger, it would not fit so well in the console of my truck, but I don't see how they could have made it any smaller. The compressor works reasonably quickly and seems to have decent volume as well. I recently had to inflate a lawn mower tire that was so flat it had come loose from the rim at the bead. I was able to position it in such a way that the bead contacted the rim all the way around and then I started the compressor. It had enough volume and pressure to seal the rim and fill the tire, a feat my old portable compressor could not accomplish. Some complain about the size of the case and difficulty getting it back in there. It is tight, but you use it a few times and you can get it back in there with practice.Flashlight is decent and air hose long enough so the flashlight will do some good to help you see your tire.

Three Stars
I believe it burnt out my cigarette lighter fuse and very slow pump.UPDATE: BEFORE YOU THROW IT AWAY, GET SOME OF YOUR MONEY OUT OF IT!This unit will blow your fuse when you let it shut down automatically. Set it on a higher psi ( if your set tire pressure is for 30 psi set it for 32) But shut it off manually at 30psi. This will stop the unit from blowing the fuse. Do it like this for each tire. This will help you get some use out of it so it won't be a total loss.

Pleasantly surprised!
I thought this would not be able to do the job. But based on the reviews, I thought it’s worth a try! I like to have preparedness kits in the car just in case. I was shocked! This puppy is quite powerful and it saved my butt this last winter when I drove my young son and myself to a family vacation home hours away during thanksgiving break. My brand new snow tires didn’t seal very well when they were first put on a few days before I’m preparation for the trip. I struggled with a “slow” leak, and had to stop a few times to fill it and the other tires. This was such a convenience! I’m so glad I bought it. I even use it at home when I don’t feel like driving to the gas station to fill my tires. I can just plug it in and do it in the driveway!

FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
INCREDIBLE!!!!!! I used it for the first time last night...I was at a restaurant having dinner...after I handed my ticket to the valet. He came back and told me I had a flat.ugh!!!I used the pump but it didnt work, not because of the product the product is GREAT!!!!!It was because my tire had a gash in it. An air hose at a gas station wouldn't have worked...The valet then assisted in changing the tire... when it rains it pours.. the spare was flat...so I had the pump in my trunk... I took it out.. plugged it into the lighter socket... attached it to the spare...adjusted it to the pressure I wanted... and turned it on... It took a few minutes and the spare tire was full..it stopped at the pressure I set it to.. the light was bright... I love this pump..Im gonna get another one for my other car!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!

Very easy to use
I had a scare with this item. I used the inflator to inflate the tires on one vehicle. About a week later, I was using the inflator on another vehicle. I had plugged it into the cigarette lighter and mid-way filling of the second tire it stopped working. I thought the inflator was defective. I had even called Amazon to return it. I thought about the fact that the inflator had a fuse included in the case. I wondered if the fuse had blown. I have a GPS system that plugs into the cigarette lighter, I tried it, and sure enough it did not work! I decided to use the cigarette lighter of another vehicle to inflate the other 3 tires. Very easy to use. Set pressure and forget, as the pump automatically stop when desired pressure is achieved. Now I have to figure out how to replace the fuse!
