Wow, for that price and quality, you can't go wrong,,,
The media could not be loaded. I was initially skeptical about buying this speaker, thinking, "Who even knows this brand?" Experience has taught me that you get what you pay for. Plus, I'm a bit of a sound snob—I like my audio rich and tight, none of that tinny or distorted nonsense.Right out of the box, this speaker impressed me with its solid feel. The mesh covering is metal, not plastic, and the casing feels as robust as a tank. The carrying strap? I thought it would be annoying, but it’s surprisingly handy—I can now waltz around with my tunes effortlessly.Pairing it with my iPhone was smoother than a jazz solo. The speaker connects every time I turn it on, and it came with enough charge to start a small dance party right out of the box. Now, let's talk sound! This baby has a rich, full sound—no tin cans here! The highs are crisp, the mids are clear, and the bass? It’s like a mini earthquake. The drivers on each side pump out some serious bass, and this thing can get LOUD. I mean, "turn it up to eleven" loud, with zero distortion. The buttons on top stay illuminated, so you won't be fumbling in the dark. There’s an outdoor mode that trims the bass for more volume, but I love my bass, so I leave it off, and there's still plenty of volume for my backyard shindigs. Before buying, I watched a YouTube video where a blindfolded guy chose this speaker over a JBL every time. It sounded staged, but I decided to try it anyway. After nearly three months, I can honestly say this speaker is fantastic and worth every penny. You won’t be disappointed! 🎶🔊🚀I'll be sure to provide an update in six months to share how this speaker holds up over time. Stay tuned!

A POWERHOUSE speaker, STURDY construction with EXCELLENT SOUND. Worth the extra money
I'm a professional musician and know good or terrible amplified sound when I hear it. This unit is POWERFUL, and has a tremendous, NATURAL SOUND. There are 2 speakers and 2 tweeters in front and subwoofers in back and on the sides. The overall sonic image is very WIDE, NOT annoyingly directional or harsh. And NOT COMPRESSED or distorted because the speakers can't handle the power. So the further you stand from it, the more the unit fills the room with a very spatial listening experience. Putting it near a wall (or even better, the corner of two walls) will enhance the already full bass response from the rear and side speakers reflecting off the wall(s).For the money you're not going to find anything better. The canoli roll JBLs (which are highly overrated and overpriced) don't stand a chance. Even the popular BOSE surroundsound gear four times the price would probably disappoint by comparison. The unit paired instantly once I first turned on the Bluetooth on my iPad, MacMini (and I assume) iPhone. There is a mic for hands free phone calls, so that may be a practical add-on. The rear panel has inputs for 3.5mm stereo aux, USB for playing tracks or charging devices, a TF card slot, and USB-C to USB-A charging cable (included, but supply your own AC adapter). There is a reset port at the far left which helps clear the unit from the previous device you used. Use a paper clip with one easy push to activate it while the power is on. Best thing is just disconnect BT from the previous device, enable BT in the new device BEFORE you power up the speaker. It will then know where to search for the signal. The EQ of the unit, flat-as-is, sounds GREAT. If by mistake you hit the EQ button at the far right, it will obnoxiously harshen the highs and evaporate the lows. Just hit it again for the real, better sound. I-tunes has an equalizer I use for tweaking and you can save presets. Really maximizes the sound capabilities for each recording you have. I believe Apple Music has a built in EQ and there must be apps that process any audio on your device before it gets sent to the speaker. This unit is LOUD if you want it to be, and the speakers don't distort or break up. Of course, check the output volume on your source device if it's too low or high, and adjust the unit volume to your liking. They remain independent which is nice.Full disclosure: I intend using this ONLY for indoor playing in an apartment. The BT range will vary greatly if you have a clear path or an obstruction like a thick wall between device and unit. I had problems finding a good spot on the other side of a wall at 20 feet. This will also vary with what device you are pairing. So a Mac mini BT signal will not be as strong as an iPad or phone. Unobstructed, it will likely have much longer solid reception. I’ve played a variety of music, mostly acoustic- classical, jazz, Brazilian and some analog oldies. They all sounded natural, uncompressed, really WARM & FULL.If you plan on listening to more "electronic" music with hypersonic subwoofer booms, then test out that specific music at volume levels and distances you need. As far as WATERPROOF goes, c'mon, man- just decide whether you want to listen or swim!BATTERY life is great. Just be sure to fully charge to three standing dots before using. I played it medium loud for 5 hours and the three charging dots were still solid. They claim 42 hours of battery charge, which will vary with the volume level and style of music you play.Speaking of SOLID, this unit is BUILT like a truck. It is quite heavy for that reason (7.4 lbs). It comes with an adjustable shoulder strap and sturdy in-unit hooks for safer, easier schlepping around. I don't recommend doing a 5K training run or Mount Everest hike with it. The rubber footprint at the bottom (and inset rear controls with fold-down rubber flap) are nice touches for stability on a slick surface. The manual is adequate for most uses. It reminds you that if you BUY A MATCHING SPEAKER of the same model number, it will automatically create a STEREO IMAGE between the two. Now is that HIP or WHAT?? Already tempted to get another!

It's Big, Loud, and Easy to Enjoy!
Lots of things too like about this speaker. I've purchased two and love the both the big sound and wide sound stage when they are paired up. My primary use case is entertaining outside and this speaker fits my needs perfectly.1) Others have said, but worth repeating, if you want to pair you need two of the same model, (X10-1 or X10).2) For me they sound much better when equalized. Using a iPhone as a source only Apple Music has access to the built in EQ. My ears likes the iPhone "Acoustic" setting best. The built in EQ button is mostly useless for me. The settings are for "indoor" or "outdoor". For my ears the "indoor" setting seems to squash the high end. I like the "outdoor" setting better. The EQ setting is not persistent so you'll need to toggle each time you turn the speaker on if you prefer the "outside" setting.3) Easy to pair together. Trick is to make sure neither is connected to bluetooth when setting this up, (quick double press on the power button on the one you want to be the primary). Makes a cool sound letting you know it's stereo paired. They operate much better together than I thought they would. Stereo pairing is persistent. Volume, EQ, and turning power off is automatically matched on the pair. Worth saying again that the stereo sound stage they have is amazing. Really kicks up the enjoyment of listening to music outside.4) These are directional speakers rather than omnidirectional. Meaning that it very much sounds better if the front of the speaker is facing you. This is exactly what I want but maybe not what you are looking for.5) USB-C charging is great. This speaker has great battery life, (lower volume = longer life), because it has a large battery. Using more than a 5w USB-A charger is where you'll see the difference in charging time. I'm using the USB charger that came with my iPad and the speaker gets fully charged in 3 to 4 hours.Summary: This speaker offers huge value if it fits the way you want to listen to your music. It's big, loud, and will make you want to invite friends over to share in a good time. That I could buy two for less than what some of its competitors cost only helped sealed the deal.
