Gold soil for a gold price
As a person who has trouble growing plants, I can verify this helps maximize germination and growth rate. I had sprouts growing strong within 2-3 days of planting that usually takes me 1 week to get with regular store bought soil. Holds moisture pretty well. When starting, make sure to place these *upright* in the cells before adding water, otherwise they’re going to not expand properly, and likely break your cells’ walls if you are using fiber/pulp based trays. A lot of the pellets were broken in the bag but that actually made it easier to measure out the right amount of soil for each cell without overflowing. The sole negative aspect I experienced wasn’t with the product itself, but with the price. It works 3x as well as store bought soil but is also 5x more expensive. I just wish these were cheaper because otherwise this would be my go to soil for everything. I think next time I’m going to mix these 1:2 with regular top soil to try germinating my plants.

Take the time necessary to not over water.
Don't over water. Easy to do if you're not patient. Time will tell for me. About another 2 or 3 weeks until seedlings start to come up.

Seeds don’t seems to do as well compared to other seed starting mix. I do like the way it expands more effectively

Worked way better for my seeds than potting soil
These work great! I used them to start seeds, and almost all came up. I also put regular potting soil in a different container and planted seeds, and only a couple sprouted. So, I will definitely be using them again in the future!
