Fun
This is a fun gadget for kids and adults, it comes with a charger cord. Does not come with charger block. Two settings to use while in pool. Water comes out and up and a good height. Great for lounging about and gettin the occasional cool off by the water spraying you. I got one bc our pool is small but id recommend getting 2 or 3 if you have a bigger pool and use it alot.

It’s good
It works as advertised. I don’t have anything negative to say about the product itself. I didn’t expect to get annoyed with the fountain part but it tends to float toward the edge and gets the ground around the pool soaked if left alone. I do wish the lights on top with the fountain could be turned on without the fountain on. But the bottom lights are cool too. I use it mostly for the light now.

Stop working in less than a second.
As soon as I turned the fountain on after submerging it for 5 sec like the instructions state the fountain came on and I was just about to change the settings to test the different functions then it stopped pumping the water out so I scratched my head and was stumped I turned it around to see if it was clogged and everything looked fine it was only in the water for 1 min max. Then I proceeded to leave the fountain on and give it like 5 mins to see if anything would happen, but after 5 mins or so it started making a real loud noise when the fountain function was on. The light show was awesome though but the fountain is really what I was looking forward too.

Much Improved Compared to Previuous Fountain
The media could not be loaded. For my last fountain, I had to totally submerge the unit to "prime" it. I was always concerned about the charging port and control buttons on the top being exposed to the water. It eventually did fail. On this fountain, there was no mention of submersion in the instructions. The fountain will pump water without being dunked, but I advise letting it float for about 15 seconds while the bottom chamber fills. If this isn't done, it will take a few seconds to spray water, but only about 1 1/2' to 2 ' high. After less than a minute, it will spray at least 3'. I just don't want to take a chance of running the pump dry at first, so that's why I have a little patience before starting it.The initial charge took at least 10 hours, but subsequent charges are much, much less. Note that I did not let it run out completely.I like that it also has two opposing built-in holes to attach strings in case you want to secure the fountain to a certain location in your pool.If you are like me, you will probably try out your fountain as soon as it is fully charged ... in the full sun! Please don't be disappointed... just wait for nighttime and give it a try. You will NOT be disappointed!
