PLAID PHONICS 2011 WORD STUDY STUDENT EDITION LEVEL D

My son has severe dyslexia, and despite being in public school with an IEP for six years, the school could not teach him to read. I pulled him out of public school and have taught him how to read with the help of these Paid Phonics books as well as other programs. Some kids need lots of phonics practice before it sticks. I also love Alpha-Phonics Book Including CD ROM Version, Spectrum Word Study and Phonics, Grade 3, Pathway readers with workbooks, and Sound Foundation's Bear Necessities.

I've been using the Plaid phonics books by MCP for at least 20 years. Can't beat them for teaching phonics step by step and encouraging writing.

If I could give this a zero rating, I would. I was shocked when my daughter was ready to use the book and she said mom the book is written in. All I knew I was buying a new book, not a used book! I really don't know what happened here but I am mostly unhappy and I am not able to return this book at all.
