The Edishine connector is about as simple as it gets. I included several progressive photos to show how it connects to the main low voltage wire (12 gage) and then to the smaller wiring going to a low voltage light fixture. No wire stripping is needed on any wiring, in fact stripping the wiring going to the lighting fixture will make it more difficult to get a firm grip on the insulation which is what holds the wire in the connector.There are guides to ensure that the pins penetrate the main wiring correctly and a firm locking snap to hold it together.I've used these two ways for lighting projects:1) A very quick way to get lights burning soon after the main power line is run and make sure your light placement is correct before putting a more permanent connector (water proof wire nut) on.2) I have also left these in place as the permanent connector and not used water proof wire nuts for locations where I could monitor closely to ensure that connections remain in tact.Keep in mind that one connector is all that is needed per lighting fixture which is different than some connectors which take 2 connectors per light fixture.I purchased these to see if they are as easy and effective to use as has been claimed and I have been very much impressed with them.The only downside is the price. I purchased a 20 pack for $33.29 which equates to about $1.66 per connector. Considering that other connectors take 2 connectors per light, however, the price works out about the same.I will definitely buy again and really love to used them for big lighting projects which are a work in progress to figure out the light placement using these connectors, then go back with the wire nut connectors. These are definitely reusable and I have used them multiple times even when setting up lights for customers to see quickly.

Best and easiest connectors ever!! Had a small problem with one of them but that was my fault. I bent one of the connector pins. Easy fix with a flat screwdriver. I’m so glad that my lights didn’t come with connectors! Would never have found these!!!

Super easy to use and if splicing similar like wires all you need to do is shave down the coating so it fits into the smaller holes and it is even makes it more water tight

Took a chance and bought these in lieu of previous low voltage clips. These are easier to work and make a solid connection.

Low quality metal bends easily when trying to connect to the low voltage landscape wire!These connectors do not pierce the cable very easily without bending. They would work great otherwise..

I really like using these things for connection of landscape lights. It was easy, no wire stripping. They are also shaped so you can use a big pliers to install them if you lack hand strength.
