College student love it!
I bought this for my son to take back to college. Both he and his roommate love it. The water there tastes terrible before being filtered. Highly recommend!

Amazing water!
This is the best water I have ever tasted out of a filter, the only comparison I can make is it tastes like Fiji water which I think is the best tasting bottled water. It does exactly what it says and after 2 months on one cartridge, the water is still at 9.3PH and great tasting! After learning about PH balance in the water we drink, I tested the water out of our Brita and it was 5.3-5.5 to our surprise, we have been drinking that water and tons of it for almost two decades! My 7 year old son also had a taste test with me between Santevia, New York tap water, and Brita and he picked Santevia as well. I highly recommend this product especially for anyone with acid problems, it has done wonders for my wife.As for the retailer VitaminLife, our pitcher also arrived cracked like the previous reviewer, and they asked us to go to contact Santevia instead of helping us out. I do not agree with this given that they poorly packed the box. On the other hand, Santevia was amazing and sent us a new pitcher and had tips on how to prep the filters before first use. I would order directly from them or look up another recommended retailer on Santevia's site.BTW, I do not work for Santevia and this is my 2nd product review on amazon and I have been a customer since 1998.

Mostly good, but there's just one bad thing
So I've had this product over a year now so I feel that I can give a good but straightforward review. This product is heaven sent. I no longer waste money on buying soo many bottles of filtered water. Every single day I go through at least 8 cups of water and I can drink that without having to fill this up several times. The GoodThe taste is good for months after replacing or adding a new filter. The size is good for a person who has 1-2 people in their house.I don't have to buy filtered water anymore. The Bad- If you put any water on the top part where it measures how many days you have left, it will go out easily. I have been without this feature for months. I could have just requested another one but I am too lazy to do it.

Great tasting water and adds minerals!
The pitcher does a great job filtering the water; it filters quickly and is very easy to fill. Just bought additional filters!

This pitcher is worth the buy
Just purchased 4/9/18 and got it 4/14/18 thanks for quick delivery, have not had enough time to review but, will say I never drank water from my apartment sink so this will be a first and so far after trying the water it smells and tastes fresh with no aftertaste. Easy to put together just handle with care and make sure the rubber gasket piece is tuck securely around the filter to stop leaking from the inside and do not get the timer wet. I will review again after using. Update today is 6/8/18 and I just replace the filter and really like this pitcher for my bottle spring water and found using the water from my apartment sink made my stomach hurt soo with that said I buy Poland spring and filter with this pitcher and find no problems with my stomach and is now alkaline.

ALKALINE? UMM.. NOPE.
I wanted to like this pitcher, because I know how important alkaline water is for our bodies and health in general.. but TWICE it was shipped busted to my door. First, a giant crack that I couldn't power through, and second a crack in the water reservoir that still held the water in place w/o leaking. Anyway, once I got past the cosmetic issues, I was able to try the water, and to be honest, it tasted like tap water. I've been drinking alkaline water for awhile, my mom has a giant machine that she dropped thousands of dollars on that filters water to the alkaline level, so I know what it's supposed to "taste" (or, really, NOT taste like) - not to mention, my body, after a couple of days drinking this water, began to feel lethargic and sick. I'm assuming it was my bodies way of reacting to what I'm going to assume was still tap water. I even tried the pH level with a testing stick and it was super low (whereas alkaline levels should be 7+) .. anyway, I appreciate Amazon's amazing customer service and easy return policy so I wasn't stuck with a $50 pitcher that didn't work. Save your money, go to your local health-conscious grocery store and just purchase water you know is alkaline.

Santevia won the science experiment!
I bought this in 2016 to use at work. Today I stumbled upon a group of teachers testing water for a science experiment. Our fairly new school tap water had better alkalinity ratings than all tested - brand names, big box store brands, grocery store brands, and alkaline water from specialized grocery stores (where I spend a lot of money on organic and wholesome foods). The big name brands were just as poor as the store brands. The brands from fancy groceries that were alkaline were not considerably or significantly better than big brands and store brands when factoring in cost.Just for fun, we tested my water from the school tap after filtered through the Santevia pitcher, and it rated the best BY FAR!My take-away was that bottled alkaline water from any store was not as good as my decent tap water filtered through the Santevia pitcher.
