Perfect mini pancakes
The item is easy to clean, the plates for the dinosaur shapes are removable so you don’t have to risk the actual electronic components getting wet when washing. I would say this item does cook very quickly and to be cautious when using the first few times until you know the machine better. I would recommend this item as I am still using it years later.

Grandson loves it!
My grandson loves dinosaurs and this waffle maker is perfect. I put the waffle batter in a squeeze bottle which makes it easier.

Expedition Dino Pancakes
This little Gem is a cast iron waffle/pancake maker and for its inaugural voyage we put it through its paces with 3 cups of batter. I will tell you EVERYONE NEEDS THIS full stop. We are a neuro-spicy household where shaped foods WILL be picked if given the choice. Dino Nuggies have been a way of life since their inception and when I saw the waffle iron Neuro-spicy me one-clicked this bad boy. It was then that my rational brain started knocking saying you’re missing something……. Once I thought about it I realized filling those little Dino’s was going to be impossible with a spoon/ladle so grab a squeeze bottle with a gasket no leaking and no spills from a spoon!

Functional but box is boring
This was a fun waffle iron that mostly worked well. It is always difficult to estimate the correct amount of batter to put into the spots for the shape to work. Also, the box it came in was plain, rather than a cute photo of the item. So it wasn’t as much fun to give as a gift, because it’s just a brown box and requires opening to determine that it is a fun dinosaur waffle maker by completely unpacking it. Seems durable and cooks well.

My grandsons love these!
I make these waffles just about every weekend with my grandsons. It works great! I love that the inserts come out for easy cleaning. The dinosaurs are the perfect size for finger waffles. They are so cute! The machine is easy to use and easy to clean. Great value for your money.

Easy to use and clean
Super easy to use and clean. My son loves dinosaurs so I knew this would be the perfect addition to Xmas morning. He helped me mix the waffle batter and placed them in the maker before I turned it on. When he was done, we closed it, popped it on for 5 minutes, and he had perfectly cooked dino waffles for Xmas morning breakfast. He was elated! Super easy to just pop off the cast iron trays to clean after it was cooled down. Naturally, as with most new products, there was a bit of a plasticy-smell when we first used it, but we have used it handful of times since and the smell is dissipating with each additional use. Small enough where storing it is super easy, too. It doesn't take up much room at all.

Works as designed
It makes Dino waffles. What else is there to say. I used a box mix and it turned out fine. Upper side is a bit lighter than underside.Use a condiment dispenser to put in the batter otherwise it’s a mess getting the right amount of batter in the molds.Added later.Various mixes work well.No real detail except the shape but the kids like them.I use a plastic fork to get them out to keep from scratching the platesSomewhat disappointed that the top is really pale with the bottom nice and brown but that's because of the size and putting the batter in a hot mold and it cooks while you fill the rest of the figures.Cheaply made but it works. I'll get my money's worth out of it because the kids like it.
