Raxstars Portable Snowboard Roof Rack

This set up is great for a few reasons. First is that it is ecinomical in that it's cheap to purchase and its got nearly zero wind drag when installed. Second positive aspect is that its very strong and I have no worries about it breaking during use.now all that being said there are other reviews stating their board got marked up well be smart I went to wally world and bought circular 1.5inch felt self stick pads and applied them to the circular foot which keeps any risk of scratches away. Now also the rear "strap" is a piece of s*** so again get either two of these per snowboard or buy a decent bungee or cam lock strap to keep it secure. Last thing is if you are buying a lock keep in mind that you don't want it to touch the board and you don't want it loose and making noise during transport. For the price it can't be beat and its very simple and compact for storage. I live in co and drive to snowboard at least once a week and I'm 2 hrs away.

Good product, if your rack sits high or no bindings on board. I needed one that I could haul two boards per rack.

This rack marked up my board. Used once and never used it again. I would not recommend to a friend.

seriously - I can't imagine anyone claiming you can thread a decent padlock through this. yet they do...it definitely works - meaning that you can confidently use it to securely attach a snowboard to just about any roofrack.it looks and feels a little cheesy, and the "foot" of the screw is not necessarily non-marring - I stick a small block of padded wood under the foot to spread the load.although this works right now, I think I see a real ski and snowboard rack on my near future.

This is such a smart, simple invention. I wanted to use the racks a bit before writing this review, which I have now had a chance to do several times. We have been able to put 4 boards on the rack with two of the Raxstars Portable Snowboard Roof Racks. That means we can have 4 people in the car which makes the gas bill smaller for everyone, and the good times elevate to the top! What could be better than having one more friend up on the mountain? This is an extremely cheap alternative, and held up strong for over 15 trips in the past couple months. I highly recommend this product for all us Baker bums...-Johnny Rocks

I ordered two of these Raxstar snowboard racks. One was laying loose in the amazon shipping box, completely torn from its packaging. The other one was in the original packaging however the strap that ties the snowboard to the roof rack was missing. I essentially received two damaged/defective products in one order.

Great solution when travelling to the slopes. Not the quickest to get on and off, but was just what I needed for a good price.
