Very heavy weight towels, when they arrived they felt soft and fluffy, which while nice, made them almost water repellant!I googled the issue and found that if you washed them alone in hot water with a cup of vinegar to remove the softening agent ( I actually did this twice to be sure), then did and additional rinse cycle with a cup of baking soda to neutralize the vinegar, they would start to absorb. I did this and now these towels are absorbent as well as great in all other respects!

I plan on buying more of these to have enough for guests. I bought these towels 2.5 years ago. They've held up well through 2.5 years of washing & bleaching. There is a place or two where a string as come loose over the years, but I just trim it down. At first I was really careful about how I washed & dried them so they'd stay nice and fluffy, but after a few months I just started throwing them in with the rest of my whites.

Just received these today. The best way I can describe them is large ribbed version of economy towels. They are not very plush or soft at all. They feel just like cheap towels but they are really big and ribbed. I bought these for me as "premium" towels then bought similar towels at Costco today for $7.99 each that would be the guest towels. Turned out the Costco ones were much softer and plush than these. Returning these and going to Costco tomorrow to buy more of the $7.99 towels.

I read some of the reviews and saw some comments about too much lint, but I took a chance and ordered the Black set anyways. Well let me tell you... The moment they arrived I put them in the washer, with other towels expecting the worst. They came out of the washer looking great. So next came the dryer test and I waited with some skepticism and anticipation. Then WOW!!! Out they came looking great. The color didn't bleed and were intact, no shrinkage. The lint level was normal/low for a brand new towel. I am SUPER happy with my purchase. P.S. I also purchased the black/white towels on Amazon and they are GREAT and go great together because of the groves. No lint problem.

These towels are nearly perfect for a few major reasons.1- GSM. I used to have thick plush towels of over 750 GSM... they were great but never seemed to dry all the way, always took an extra cycle in the dryer. Eventually they developed a musty smell that just never went away. These at 620 GSM are just right. Thick and plush feeling but dry much better, both hanging on hook and when put in dryer. The little lower GSM is definitely better!2- Ribs. Did not think this was even a thing to think about. My last towels had vertical ribs... these are horizontal. The horizontal ribbing helps dry you off better. Who knew?3- Feel. The Goldilocks of feel... not to soft, not to coarse. Just right. 100% cotton is so much better than any blend. Microfiber feels like it just smears water around you... these towels really dry you off.4- Holding up well. Instructions say to wash before use. Definitely got a lot of lint after the initial wash and dry. After use and subsequent cycles, shedding became much less, to the point of virtually no lint. The towels still feel great and perform great after many washes.

I have owned Classic Turkish Towels products for almost 8 years now so I am a tad bias in my comments.These towels are the real deal!Super thick - lasts for years and years! Most important, they 'fit' me!These are not your normal sized towels for the normal sized folks. They are huge :-) For us big boys,,,, OMG good!! They fit :-)In a nut shell, you will not be disappointed with this product.One important note I had to learn the hard way: Do not use bleach in the wash with these towels. You will be disappointed if you do :-)I give this product from Classic a 5 star rating,,, if there was a higher rating, I would have done so, that is how much I am happy with them.I own 12 of these towels, two robes and other products from Classic!

I love these towels! they are super thick and absorbent. Nice and big. I am 5'7" and they are plenty big. I like the ribbed texture. I love this picture of my cat hiding behind the towel peeking out at me! :-) I have used them everyday for over a year and they have held up perfectly. No fading or frayed edges. Still very thick.

So I was shopping for a cushy Luxury Spa towel in soothing blue, like Tiffany Blue, Aqua, A Modern shade. The Spa Blue in this towel brand is Not It. This, as pictured, is on the greenish shade of blue. I don't hate the color but I don't love it either. Hopefully my pictures will give you an indication of how far off of blue it is.* Note that when I bought mine the color was called 'spa blue' - looking back on this in 2021 noticed they have Changed the Color name to 'Spa Green' so go by the color 'chart' and not their title.* It Is a Green towel.The towel size is nice, the weight is fine, but I wouldn't call it luxury soft.It washed nice, with no excessive lint and dried fast after use.Personally, I think it's overpriced for what it is.The hunt continues.
