IN-021 - Aviation Watches

It's too bad, since the watch looks impressive and comes in an elaborate box. The fake slide-rule ring has both scales on the single ring. Under the glass is another slide-rule scale, but it is too hard to see and had too much of a gap to be usable. The Bezel does rotate, but roughly and in only one direction.The digital displays are white characters on an black background. They are invisible unless you activate the backlight. But the backlight is very dim and shuts off in about 1 second, not enough time to read the numbers.At first I thought the "9", "3" and the other hour marks were just paint, but it is a thin lume. The hour and minute hand have better lume, about average for a sum $100 watch..Since I bought this for the slide-rule - 2 stars. Since the digital display is unusable -1 star.This might be okay as a first watch for a kid -- it keeps good time. I would get a NATO-style web strap and ditch the metal bracelet -- it rattles.
