The soft colors on the butterfly thank you cards are beautiful and the card stock is great quality matte stock. Since it is matte there will be no problem writing on it with any kind of pen.

These were so cute and worked perfectly for thank you cards.

Since I do a lot of non-profit work, I write a lot of thank you notes. These are really beautiful, well-made cards.As shown on the product page, there are 20 cards in the box—four each of five different designs, all measuring 4 x 6 inches. Most of the cards are full-color with what appears to be a watercolor picture of butterflies with the words, “Thank you,” stamped in gold foil across the front. One design consists of a single gold foil butterfly with no sentiment.The cards seem to have a waxy coating on the outside, but the inside is plain cardstock, which is easy to write on. If you run over and write on the back of the card, a regular ink pen may be a bit hard to use on the coated paper. With a writing surface inside of 6 x 8 inches, you have plenty of space to express your gratitude to the recipient.The envelopes are made of a good quality white paper that is easy to write on, too. I really appreciate that the adhesive on the self-stick strip goes all across the flap and holds the envelope securely shut. You just peel the backing to expose the strip and press.At about $13 for the boxed set of 20, these cards cost about 65 cents each. Considering how beautiful, well-made and convenient they are, I think you will agree that they are a great buy for those who want to send acknowledgments for wedding gifts, birthday presents and other acts of kindness!
